Forever linked to World Youth Day, Report for EWTN Vaticano

In a few days, World Youth Day will begin.
More than a “day,” it’s nearly a week of celebrations… and, it’s the most highly anticipated worldwide event for Catholic youth.
This year, it’s going to be in Krakow, Poland, the homeland of two Saints of God's Mercy - St. Faustina Kowalska, the promoter of the Divine Mercy devotion, and St John Paul II, the founder of World Youth Day.
Hundreds of thousands young people will unite in one place for a celebration of their faith. The event includes prayers, pilgrimages, spiritual programs, cultural events and, at the end, events with the Holy Father, Pope Francis.
But young people have been preparing for this event for a long time here at Rome’s Centro San Lorenzo… the St. Lawrence Youth Center. Magdeleine and Priscille are volunteers here. And, they’re soon going north to participate in WYD 2016.
