When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.[a] 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spiritâs power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on Godâs power.
I was just thinking about my testimony and how I didnât have one, but then the first video I see on my sub feed is this one! This video is so helpful and now I finally found my testimony and can share it with others đ

After completing a 6 week life group on purity, I avoided going to the ceremony for many months. Finally after having the boldness to sign up, I was then asked to share my testimony by the leader of the group. I am sharing in a week, and this video helped so much clear my mind of the jumble in my head!

Amen great video! My testimony is at 14 while I was reading the Bible God met me in a super intimate way and showed me how great my sin and selfishness was while at the same time showed me how fierce His love for me was and how much He wanted my whole life! That was when things really changed! đđ

This was incredibly helpful!! I am sharing my testimony for the first time in my community group that I host in my home. My favorite tip is look for the theme. That helped to lay out my key stories where God showed up and rescued!

I completely relate to the part about wanting to sound perfect and really make sure the message is clear and I honestly struggle with making sure that I say the right things when it comes to glorifying God. I put a lot of pressure on myself in that way because I donât want people to think that I donât know that God is the one in control. Something that has been really help me helping me with being anxious when sharing my testimony is knowing that itâs not about me and itâs about glorifying God .
Good advice. Sometimes when we share our testimonies we focus too much about ourselves not that we meant too, but because we're not taught how to do so. đđ

Tbh, a lot of my testimony for why I believe in God is from hearing so many other peopleâs testimonies.

Great advice. I think we always need to remember that our testimonies should ultimately point others to Christ. I think people share too much about themselves and not enough about the redeeming work of Christ.

I am being called to share my testimony, I am nervous to do so because I know it will be quite lengthy (I was gone/out there for 18 years) & I know I will face difficulty expressing what I want to get out (because of my ADD & years of trauma) so Iâm self conscious about my talking, but Iâve already posted a video on my channel saying Iâll share my story, no turning back . Please pray for me.
I shared my testimony for the first time in my adult small Group I thought to myself Iâm in my early 20s weâre all adults here maybe itâs time to share my story so I Did and everyone loved my story
Getting ready to get ready! I'm tucking up loose ends and confronting the who's that go with the what's of my past. It's my story, yes... ut it involves other people (not by my choice).
Their behavior & actions might have been shady, but I choose classy. They can believe me or not. They can deal with it or not...but my silence serves no one. I've been asked to speak (with authority & experience) about hot button issues...(sex abuse of minors, generational abuse cycles, rare miscarriage scenarios, livingbwith people in autism spectrum family, etc...)
These may be my stories, but they involve others.
Crassly to me is asking questions, getting permission/ blessing to share. And in those super-boundaries areas, tell, inform & advise the other party that " This is what I'm doing. I plan to be tactful and discreet, and its happening. I'm giving you the gift of notification & a general heads up that this is what I'm doing to try to help & advocate for other people" At least the other parties will have been served.

When it comes to detail - not everyone in your life should know you like that. It's okay to have control over what amount/what level of detail people have about your story. It's okay to have things just between you and God. :)
