I'm from Shreveport LA and that happened a few blocks down from my neighborhood Motown on monkhouse l was in middle school around that time there are two sides of the hood Motown blue side and Motown- Forest Oak Red that wasn't the first or last shooting or murder on that strip that spot after the club was dangerous multiple gangs would stop by there at anytime from around the City cars would block traffic you could barely drive down the street loud music girls the hole 9 and guns shots would rang out nightly many people have been shot, killed, robbed big gang fights regularly on tht strip and multiple gangs on the scene especially when the soul food restaurant opened. The city has much luv for Scarface they were just at the wrong spot for food late night especially in the early 90s far as I heard it was just a stray bullet nobody had a issue with Face it was said one dude was talking shit and he was allegedly affiliated with a local gang set in the city im not sure which set and had a altercation with of the Rap a lot crew for whatever reason but the sh!t started between local gang beefs and another local gang was already set to go at him and his set as usual Face and his crew was ready to rock im sure H-Town ain't no joke. But this was just some regular local shit like always some shit going on in the city like that if Face and Crew wasn't there the shit still wouldve went down so basically that one dude talking shit was the only reason they got caught up in the middle of a local gang beef one local gang was attempting to take on the shit starter because they already had him on there radar. Suge Knight would visit the city back then yall don't know nothing about the Port City that muthafuka was the wild west and is still savage. Scarface is one of my top two favorite rappers along with Makaveli The Don

I'm not sure if it's possible if you could find info on two things: 1. I had a few friends that worked for Rap-A-Lot and they told me of the Big Mike and Big Mello (RIP) beef. They told me of the tension between Big Mike and Big Mello and they also said that Big Mike's song "Playa Playa" was directed at Big Mello. Big Mello's song "No Hiding Place" third verse, Big Mello speaks negatively of Big Mike...2. On Swishahouse Big Ballin' Shot Callin' song, there's a verse by LT "HG, ex-boys plexin' get their shirt wet, if they disrespect we shut their eyes and leave them 💀." It was talking about the neighborhood Houston Gardens which is south of Rosewood (Ley Rd divides the two neighborhoods.) I was told of a freestyle battle that went on of some members of Swishahouse and some dudes from Houston Gardens that was held at Joe's Auto Detail shop in 5th Ward. Things went into conflict mode and people in Houston Gardens were told not to jam Swishahouse.
