In a recent interview with bill burr he mentions that he hasn’t physically written down a joke in 20 years, but respects mark normand for having that kind of style

Love hearing about the process... I might be inspired to try some joke righting. I’ve been on a roll in text threads lately, but it’s all quick wit. If I have weeks to prepare, the sky’s the limit.
All of our interviews are about the process so you’ll definitely love our playlist about writing. We also go into more detail in our Facebook group. Join us! facebook.com/groups/HotBreathComedyNetwork/

@@bigleebrink Oh awesome thanks buddy!
Another great one, when does mark’s masterclass in stand up come out???
Seriously! He should totally do one. We like to think our interviews are the closest version of that so far.
Hot Breath! Comedy Network tru that, I’d love to hear an hour on just the writing process and how it works to go onstage having never said the material to an audience before
@@jackwarren1687 Ah yes you are a nerd for the process like us. You'd really enjoy our facebook group. We share a lot of content about writing in there. facebook.com/groups/HotBreathComedyNetwork/
Comedy god Kevin Hart

Yeah for sure!
How long have you been in the game?
@@HotBreathPod only a coupla years mate :)
Mostly in NYC but I’m back in the UK now. Love the channel and everything you’re doing on there mate!
@@thomashenrycomedy Very cool I appreciate the kind words Thomas. Let's connect in our Facebook group. I do a daily joke writing club in there with several comics from the UK. facebook.com/groups/HotBreathComedyNetwork/
Who's living their best queef?
You can tell this guy is definitely a Tuesgay.
For sure! We've had both Mark and Joe on the show.
Studying anything - comedy for example - might make someone a comedy academic, but they're likely to be far less funny than someone who works at writing jokes and sharing them.
Effort is most important.
Everyone definitely have to get on stage and do the reps. You can’t outsmart the work!
I kinda wanna see what either one of these guys are like when they're irritable.
🤣🤣🤣
Mark talks like a 50s disc jockey.
Haha for sure!
@@HotBreathPod brilliant comic, but the voice! Grrrrrr. Lol
@@HotBreathPod its like a young Norm McDonald.
I just don't get the love on for Jerry Seinfeld ...I mean I really like the guy ...the _guy_ ...you know, like he's a good person, and a real enabler ...although I sense a little more arrogance in his demeanour than he's usually know for. I listen to a lot of stand up, but it's just hard for me to sit through his set ...he wasn't even the funny one in his own show. I don't mind clean comedians ...I love Brian Regan ...and Mark is up there with my favourites.
I guess I just like comedians to walk right on top of the line of acceptable banter and tap dance all over it.
