MBTI's description of Se is too simplistic it's kind of insulting. Socionics seems to be more in depth

MBTI Se is Socio-Si, having purely to do with basking in sensual experiences. MBTI Te is Socio-Se, having to do with exerting one's individual will over their external environment. Most SP types are Socio-Si users, most TJ types are Socio-Se users.

I’m an SEE and I think *some* of these are much more SLE in nature due to the difference in the Ti/Fe versus Fi/Te axis. (Makes sense, though, as it is an umbrella for two different types) That said, most of these are incredibly true… particular recreational competition and the need for impact. Great video!

I agree with Gulenko that letters, and not symbols, should represent the cognitive functions.

Does an individual's level of confidence influence Se's manifestation? E.g., if an individal has a low level of confidence in their abilities (the ability to make an impact, the ability to succeed or overcome obstacles etc.), would that make the Se user more reluctant to engage with the environment/compete or does valuing Se make the individual inherently confident in their ability to impact the environment?

This is similar to Enneagram 3 and 8

Socionics > MBTI. Shame socionics isn't as well known as MBTI
