    Great video. I'll have to try this. My right side is the worse side but both sides are stiff. Sit-down job doesn't help this...

      You're right. Sitting most of the day is tough on the back! Let me know how the stretches and fascial release work goes on your back. Good luck!

    There is a tightness in my lower back right side. It comes and goes. I feel more tight in that region, when i lay on my back,when i try to touch my toes when standing upright, amd also if im bending backwards. This has been going on for months now. I guess it happened when i lifted a barbell in the wrong position

    I have quite stiff low back after hard boxing training. There is a lot of torque and explosive hip rotation when power punching, so you have some tips about this other than stretching and release

      We have multiple videos on stretches, fascial release work and exercises for the low back and associated muscles. Hope you can find what you need on the channel. Good luck!

    What if you have a QL strain?? Do you still stretch, won’t it make the pain worse?? This came about after intense work outs to strengthen my extremely weak glutes that weren’t firing, still aren’t. If you do stretch, do you do both sides equally? The pain is especially painful by the last rib all the way down to the iliac crest and sij. Thank you!

      Treatment often is determined by the severity of the injury. If the QL is severely strained and inflamed, I would not stretch it initially. Rest and ice initially. Best of luck!

    I keep Straining it! Even if I sleep wrong! It burns to! Really can't stretch because it's always Straining on me.

      I would find a good chiropractor or physical therapist to take a look at it.

      Likewise! 😩It seems to heal and then bam it's either the left or right that begins to hurt.

    When i was training hard I did a lot of handspins (90s) on my right arm so I think that caused this to get really tight. The pain never goes away even at rest.. Now along with lower right back pain I have abdomen, groin and hip pain too. Its taken me away from breakdance for two years now and no imaging or treatment has worked

    I had an accident where I was walking while carrying an iron girder, when I stepped with my left foot in a hole. Immediately I felt like something ripped on my left back side. Spent the next few days unable to move. It's been a weak spot for me ever since. I can't run or jump or work intensely or I risk spending a day in bed. I was wondering why that spot isn't cured? Can a muscle detach from the bone and become weaker where it is joined to the bone? Can I get better? I really don't need stretchings. All videos on YT are about stretching and I feel like when I go in extreme angles and stretches my body is giving me warnings.

      You may have scar tissue/fascial adhesion in the injured area. Try this video: czcams.com/video/gS63HN1f81I/video.html

      Try the techniques on this video. If they don't help at all, have it evaluated by a doctor/therapist in your area. Good luck!

    I think I will write for myself a guide with your info wow you show breaking down facial in the muscles do I need to work this for awhile, weeks months or strengthen right away?

    • @OcraMedHealth
      @OcraMedHealth  Před 4 lety

      If the area has been a problem for a while there may be a lot of fascial adhesions in the area. This often requires consistent work for several weeks to fix. As long as you are not having pain, you can begin strengthening the area also. Good luck!

    Ive been doing this video along with a few more that last week for my left side back pain.
    Every day I have been doing this video along with hip internal rotation work and I bought one of those pso rites for a psoas release and in conjunction they have been helping,
    I always do the triangle post stretch before bed , and it feels really good and every day its easier , just done it before bed and I wasnt feeling anything is it possible to go too far into this pose and strain the ql muscle, i have a shooting pain now when side bending to my right.

    • @OcraMedHealth
      @OcraMedHealth  Před 4 lety

      Yes, there is always the possibility of stretching to hard/far. Maybe take a couple of days off from doing that stretch. Good luck!

    Is it common for this Muscle to be “pulled” when doing sport (normally explosive movements)?

    • @OcraMedHealth
      @OcraMedHealth  Před 3 lety +1

      The QL is commonly injured/strained in both sports and every day activity.

      @@OcraMedHealth is it common for the pain to be around the glute med area?

    • @OcraMedHealth
      @OcraMedHealth  Před 3 lety +1

      The QL pain is usually higher. Perhaps your issue is with your glute medius?
