BNSF MAS 40...

... Is the Maximum Authorized Speed through Toppenish Washington. My father knew this train was coming before hand and we managed to get to toppenish right on time to meet it. Where I was standing there is a joint in the rail (As this part of the line is jointed rail still) so you get that trademark "clickity-clack". The track speed here is 40 MPH.

There was some welded rail laying next to the jointed rail as of yesterday. They are going to be replacing it next April here and on the rest of the line so there won't be any more jointed rail. Great Video! I have been getting lots of vids soon.
