I bought the pencil case ($39 USD) because I use the Bellroy sling and it fits perfectly in the sling, for cables and everyday carry items. Swiss knife, nitecore Tiki flashlight, etc. I was using the Bellroy Classic Pouch which fits, but takes up way too much space.

Thank You for this review. I was about to buy this pencil case and have decided not to. The design on the outside when closed looks messy and unattractive

I detest companies like Bellroy which love to trade on being an "Australian" company whilst manufacturing all their premium priced products as cheaply as possible in so called 3rd world countries where wages are criminally low; Always profit before all else. To justify the "premium" price of any of their products, they should be made in Australia by Australians. I will NEVER buy a Bellroy product. And neither should you.

I work in the soft goods business and you clearly do not know how the industry works. Also, I wouldn't call China or Vietnam 3rd world lol. Vietnam are some of the best in the business in terms of soft goods manufacturing.

@@nancykittinger1925 Are Bellroy goods made in Australia? NO. Are Bellroy products made by Australians? NO. Are Bellroy pencil cases made cheaper in any country other than Australia? YES.
      Funny about that...

@@nancykittinger1925 They purposely don't put the country of manufacturer on each product page. To find it you need to navigate to the FAQ and even then they don't specify exactly which country just a generic "we make our proucts in India, Vietnam etc". You have to email them the product link to find out exactly where a particular product is made. This is utterly unusual and bizarre at best, and downright misleading and deceptive conduct under Australian Consumer Law.
Now why would a company deliberately hide this information behind this many walls of friction?
If I go to Muji today, I'll know exactly for each product where it is made in because its on the label. They don't hide it.
