Nah, not cheap at all. Health stuff can affect us at any age and sharing stories like these will help others feel less alone.
Thanks for making ME feel less alone you guys. 🥹❤️❤️❤️
And also create awareness for others to seek medical care should they notice anything unusual with their body.
I really appreciate the honesty and vulnerability of this video. It’s genuine because you’re not sugarcoating the situation. It’s important to share real moments like this because it reminds us all how important our health is at any stage of life.
I hope you have a speedy recovery!
Well thank you for the message. I really appreciate you being here 🥰🙏🏼
Baby Bean came along at the right time - you guys decided to come back home and Levi's alarm happened while back at home otherwise you'd still be travelling right!! Thanks baby Bean!! ❤❤ Speedy recovery!! Positive vibes
Woaaaaaah that’s true! I love this perspective! 🙏🏼🥰
I was thinking the same thing. 🥰😘❤️
I was thinking that too. Bean saved Mum & Dad a horror show of bills by making sure they were out of the US when the alarm went off.
You two don't have to worry about your authenticity. You come of as two of the most genuine people on the internet. Best wishes for a quick recovery!
Thanks for being here ❤️❤️❤️
The tone and mood of this video was so different to normal, you can see stress was for you guys, thanks for keeping it real and i wish levi speed recovery!
Yeah… I was worried about that but I couldn’t just make the typical thing we publish. Thanks for watching 🙏🏼❤️
I meant it as a compliment though it came out very sincere and very real, i feel like if you tried to fluff over it it wouldnt of come across as genuine.
It takes a lot of bravery to share such a emotional and private moment. ❤your helping a lot of folks. I personally have a massive fear of any surgery. Your journey really inspired me to be more brave with my health journey ❤
Well I hope so? It’s a tough thing and hugely mental right? I find I have a number of coping mechanisms that just get me through it that I need some time to shed off afterwards.
In the age of influencers sharing only golden amazing moments and not always real moments, this was refreshing. Don't feel like it's taking advantage posting things like this when you tell the story so well and are really just sharing a genuine moment with us. It helps others see the other side of life, and especially helps people see that it's OK to be vulnerable and that these things eventually pass and we can move on with our lives.
Thanks for the great content!
As someone else with long QT? I love hearing other heart stories! Please don’t feel off or awkward or is if it’s different content, because I enjoy it, and I’m sure other heart patients do too! Please keep sharing your story & know you are so valid and you matter! 🥰❤️🩹🩵🫀
I’m an OR nurse and it’s actually quite helpful for me to hear patients perspective going in for a procedure. Speedy recovery Levi!
Oh wow Levi! I have to admit, I started tearing up the moment I read the title and cried through the whole video. Logically, I thought you must be okay, because the video was released, but I couldn’t help myself. Thank you for sharing this intimate part of your life. Love and hugs to you, Leah and your family. ❤❤❤
Thanks so much for being here. 🥹🥰
@@LeahandLevi ❤️🥰❤️
I don't know if you'll see this, but I had heart surgery after multiple years of symptoms not being diagnosed. I know how scary it can be to go into surgery and I'm glad that you are able to go through this together! ❤️
Good luck in the future my friend. ❤️🥰
Levii!!! I'm so glad you're okay and please don't worry about being non authentic. Just saying it means you ARE being authentic! I'm sorry you had to go through this. My mom just recently had heart surgery for her own irregular heartbeat. Scary stuff, but you handled it all like a champ! Huge hugs to you and to Leah!!!! You are amazing!!
Wow! Thank you for saying this and sharing your own story. Wishing her the best with her situation 🙏🏼
I'm 37 and got a pacemaker this spring due to several heart "pauses". Lucky I live in one of the best countries in the world! You are definitely not alone Levi, take care ❤
My Grandfather had several heart attacks, I was young and don’t remember him in and out of the hospital. I’m really grateful for our healthcare system and the people that made it possible for him to get a pacemaker. He lived many happy years afterwards. Sending y’all big hugs and a smooth recovery 🤗
We’re truly so lucky to live where we do ❤️❤️❤️
The anticipatory moments leading up to surgery, especially any *planned* surgery, are so strange. I'm glad you're taking care of yourself, Levi! Hopefully you can take it easy for a little while and recover in full stride. :)
Levi, thank you for sharing your experience with us. Raising awareness is always a good thing. Something like 1 in 500 people has an undiagnosed heart condition. I have arrhythmia and angina which is fortunately controlled with a bunch of meds. I hope your recovery is on track and you're back on deck soon. My very best wishes to you, Leah and your families. ♥
Thanks for sharing… I didn’t know those stats but reading the comments there is a lot of people who seem to have a connection to someone with a heart condition. ❤️

Hi Levi (not the Strauss guy😂). Thank you so much for sharing your health journey with us (and hope Leah will do likewise with the birth and post-partum of Baby Bean). I couldn’t help but chuckle when you said you were more pre-occupied with making this video than with the upcoming surgery: spoken like a “true You-Tuber”. We all appreciate your authentic sharing because we care about you and Leah, and want to be there for you, if only remotely💕
Be well. Awareness and educating the public as to health issues and walking them through the process is a wonderful thing!!
Of course, we watched to the end… we wanted to make sure you were okay 💓
Heal up… we are here when you are feeling better & are up to resuming video making!
Thanks again for sharing your health journey. I’ve had my own struggles and hearing about younger people who have also dealt with health problems does make me feel less alone.
I’m glad your parents & Leah were there… I’m sorry they couldn’t be there in your room before & afterwards.
I caught that walking to the beach, your parents were holding hands and on another clip, you and Leah were holding hands 💕
I’m so grateful you were back in Canada for this surgery… much better option than other countries like the US where I am from…
Sending healing thoughts 💗 Take care!
Thanks Crissy... we're lucky. These times are emotional but having the family around makes a big difference. ❤
Levi, I appreciate you posting this video because I also have a Medtronic pacemaker/defib. I’m also coming to the end of my 5+ years and will need mine replaced in a few months. I am curious what you thought of the experience and what was your recovery time from your surgery. How are you now? I hope you are recuperating very well and will be back to your old self real soon. Thanks so much! I’m so sorry you have heart issues so young but it does sound like you have been doing so well. I’m not as lucky but I’m sure that’s because I’m so much older and I’m at the point my pacemaker is keeping me alive. Thanks so much.
Wishing you a speedy recovery 🙏🙏🙏
Levi, authentic is your middle name. You will never have to worry about that! Speedy recovery and big hugs for both of you
Thanks for sharing your journey! Not to say I enjoyed you having a heart surgery but I liked seeing this side of you, we don’t often like to be vulnerable but I feel that’s how you create real connections! Hope you are recuperating well! ❤
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Can totally relate! Also young and have had some crazy health issues that affect me all the time. I’ve got common variable immunodeficiency disease (not common) and hardly anyone knows. I don’t talk about it too much online either. Wishing you a quick & easy recovery!
Hopefully you’re finding a balance, thanks for leaving a comment. ❤️
It’s important to be vulnerable and honest about your life. We do t want to hear just about the good stuff. Thank you for sharing your full journey with us. Glad your surgery went well and sending you all the healing vibes
Hey Levi! Glad you made this video. I remember way back in the spring of 1981 my youngest brother was 7 and had his Aorta repaired. He had a coarctation of the Aorta where it narrows for some unknown reason. They couldn't replace the section altogether because of where it was in relation to a major vein so they patched it like an innertube on a bike. Back then the surgery took a full 8 hrs and wasn't completely covered by our Ontario Healthcare Plan, it was still what they considered 'experimental'! That day was one of the longest days in my life, I was 12 and I think the worry aged my parents at least 10 years so I know what your parents went through with this surgery! Now he's heading towards 50 and the surgery they said he would likely have to have to enlarge the patch has never had to happen-yet! You are so lucky that they were able to identify what was going on with you and be able to maintain your health. All the best in your healing and yes, no pulling on anything in the trailer, time for you to supervise for a while!
Wow! Yeah there’s a lot of heart disease out there and it effects a lot of us. I’m happy to hear that he’s lived a full life already. 🥰🙏🏼
Certainly not cheap - to the contrary, very real and raw... Your stress is palpable. Glad to see the surgery was a success. I wish you a speedy recovery!!!
Thank you for being here 🙏🏼
I think that was an honest and heartfelt video and now you all will have something to show the baby on the future. Heal well and happy it went well. Also, peace to Leah and your parents that must have been a lot for them.
As a fellow young adult who had ohs last year, may your recovery be swift, and the sticky tape comes off easily. ❤️
You are letting us into your lives and this is a part of it. I think everyone appreciates your sharing this with us. Life and all it’s complexities!
Well wishes to you ,Levi! Keep being you and sharing your content. Baby will be glad someday! ❤
So glad you’re on the mend! Nurse Leah well done as well! Swift healing, and be gentle on yourself!!! I think it’s a good thing to share. Humans go through things beyond the always cool and wow stuff. Thank you for being open and willing. ❤❤

Thanks for sharing. We're all just human beings, keep being authentic. Speedy recovery to you.
I am going through cancer treatment for APML, my treatment was Arsenic. One of the side effects was enlongated QTC and had to have ECG’s everyday before treatment for about 4 months.

Love you guys!! Prayers for a speedy recovery.
Wow! Wishing the best!
It's part of your life experience, you were just being honest. You did a whole video which is brave at such an emotional time you went through. Even if you had posted a brief message of "I am going to be having a medical procedure and might not be making a video next week, see you guys soon" video, that would have been totally okay too. Wishing you a speedy recovery Levi. 😊✨

Really enjoyed this video. Hope your recovery is swift and painless! I also laughed out loud when the man walked in on you scrubbing yourself. 😂
I am glad you didn't let that limit living your best life.
Leah great job giving off calm , low-key energy, that helps, (great trait for being a mommy too). Levi, I'm glad you shared this, the reason I watch you guys is not because it's a travel/mobile living VLOG it's because I like to seeing you guy's day to day shiit(ake mushroom) you know a day in the life vlog.
