Watching these in 4K is so clean 😎 thanks for the tips!
Thank you..great stuff and great timing (by algorithm=). I am working on this now
Concise, to the point, and full of explanation, Thank You!
Cody, have you done a video review or what is your opinion on the freelap timing system? Have you found it beneficial? TiA
Hi Cody! So I Have a question. Is taking few days off after PR appropriate?
What shoes do you recommend for sprinting on asphalt? Also why is there always a car alarm going off?
Yeah I really try it since day one of sprinting 😂😂😂
ever run/visit the Drake Relays?
how do you set up your blocks
I notice you have a long arm strike, do you think this is slowing you down? An elbow at a 90 degree angle is a short lever, Bolt has a 90 degree elbow arm strike.
Just started track I run a 13.5 lmao but I notice that rise after 5 meters honestly
What about max velocity
Maxflys or superfly elite. Do the mayfly provide substantial advantage bc of air pods and stiff carbon fiber plate? Thanks
Yes totally, I feel like I’m flying when I’m using them
Is foot down directly under your center of mass when you accelerate out of the blocks ideal?
Approximately, yeah. You can aim for under the hips 👍🏽
@@ATHLETE.X Behind or right under the center of mass is better?
Subtitules?
So let me ask a question : do you want triple extension the first 3 steps or the whole acceleration phase?
It’s going to vary between athletes. Full extension is fine but many athletes have poor timing where they keep trying to extend too long and don’t switch to hip Flexion soon enough. Basically they “over push”.
The extension should occur naturally, it shouldn’t be forced. And often many top sprinters will not fully extend the knee after the first few steps of the sprint. Once again this isn’t intentional, it’s a result of applying force at the right time and then bringing the back leg forward at the right time.
@@ATHLETE.X thank you 🙏
Is a standing start much slower than a block start? I have almost no experience in blocks, wondering if I'd be running a lot faster if I learned how to use blocks as opposed to standing starts. Cheers!
At first it may not be faster, but long term you’ll have much faster starts after learning to use blocks. Check out my channel, I’ve got a recent video on how to set them up.
@@ATHLETE.X Right on, makes sense. Thanks man!
What is your pr in 100m?
