the call from John's father shakily yet politely asking for information about his son being shot was somehow more devastating than any 911 call I've ever heard

@@arugalnews32 yeah it's sad truly and then the cheating to begin with smh she put him in a situation to get killed she's almost as guilty
It's simple - Because men that thrive on respect take it as ultimate disrespect when cheated on. The reason most problems exist in our world today is because people choose to disregard respecting others. If we could simply get respect back toward humanity, we'd have far less problems.
Then you do not understand how the male brain works in a state of rage.

I knew John personally. I lived on Hilton head island from 2011-2014. He was friends with the family. He was always such a fun loving guy. Such a sad circumstance
This girl couldn't tell the truth to save her life.
I’m so sorry for your loss
It's amazing to me that people cheat, and then the partner decides, not to be the angriest at the person who broke their trust and cheated on them but to go and kill the person they cheated on them with. Hello? It's not his relationship, and SHE chose to "step out."
I say this all of the time!!
I kind of agree, but her "lover" knew what he was doing. He was being disrespectful in one of the highest degrees, and he knew the risks.
It's definitely a FAFO situation.
I haven't cheated since grade school, and that wasn't even a real relationship.
I don't mess with women in relationships either.
It's crazy how drama free my life is, and I don't have to worry about getting killed by a jealous partner.

Ummmm I’m appalled by some of these comments. Getting cheated on is NOT an excuse to take someone’s life. Like WTF??? I agree, people shouldn’t cheat, but blaming that for murdering someone is asinine. Your SO cheats, leave. Wow.
You are woefully uninformed. "Just leave" easy for a woman to say.
But for men a cheated on husband who "leaves" loses his kids, his house and other assets and is forced to pay the cheating ex-wife for the bette part of two decades.
What's more, his kids are not only forced to live with the mother, they have NO SAY if/when she choses to force her adultery partner into their lives.
Once the cheated on dad is forced out of the house the kids become statistically 40 TIMES more likely to suffer abuse and/or fall victim to homicide.
This is the REALITY of "no-fault" divorce laws feminists demanded and received back around 1970, lady.
But, yeah, easy for your to say "just leave". Unlike women, men literally evolved to protect their kids. Men regularly sacrifice their lives for their families, whereas women sacrifice their families for their selfish feelings.
Wake up.
Very few sober comments here. What all of these 'tough guys' are essentially saying when they excuse the husband is that they think it's ok to kill someone who hurts their feelings. That's how weak they are. Hubby gets to spend the next 50 years thinking about how divorce would've been cheaper...
Finally, a comment with some sense!!
Nah cheating is a form of emotional abuse which why crime of passion love exists. If you don’t cheat you have nothing to fear
Cheating is definitely not an excuse to take someone's life, but people need to realize that it's a potential outcome when cheating. Not saying it's ok, but it happens all the time. Usually it's the spouse though, not the other person.
People are saying "please don't cheat', how about don't be a psycho who kills people over a bad relationship? If someone is cheating on you, that doesn't mean someone else deserves to DIE over it.
Agreed… but also… don’t cheat.
Agreed, just move on.
Don’t cheat
The correct answer is: don't cheat, and don't be with cheaters. if you end up being cheated on, and feel the need to murder, turn around and walk away, and blame yourself for being with a cheater in the first place.
I mean yea you have to go to prison to live in a cage like an animal. For literally nothing

Does anyone else find it weird how she asked for a Diet Coke? You’re being interviewed at a police station by detectives because your friend was just murdered with a shot gun blast to the head. You’re not at a restaurant giving your drink order. They offer you water, you say thank you and take a water. Instead she hesitates, thinking…umm…I don’t really like water…do you have my preferred drink?

I haven’t finished the video, but I bet she’s involved lol.
It’s not like she said “I’ll have a martini straight up with a twist”, it’s a police station, they have soda machines

Don't cheat and don't commit murder.
Or cheat, but DO NOT commit murder!
a married woman once fell in love with me. we would spend time and make out and stuff. i knew she was married, and i felt it was wrong. but we really liked each other so it was hard for me to walk away. it was only when she told her husband that she wanted an open relationship with me included that i saw the danger of the situation. i knew it would not end well because he loved her. i felt truly bad about the whole thing and so disgusted with myself that i left the country for a while. they ended up moving to a different country and having a son. somehow the whole situation made their marriage stronger, which i'm actually thankful was the outcome. i would never get involved with a married woman again. it was so wrong.
This is my opinion on this. Sam knew John set him up after he had helped him out. Collette is equally guilty. John & Collette probably set up Sam to get shot. She is lying her butt off. Collette wanted John shot so Sam wouldn't find out she also set him up. Collette manipulated both into shooting each other. She's conveniently never present when they are shot.

It seems to me that the girlfriends or wives are always dragged into these things and always end up getting charged too. Where do they find these dispatchers. The level of stupidity is amazing
There’s not even any evidence that they were having an affair. Even if they were though it doesn’t justify murder. I doubt there was even an affair going on. His friends even said he wasn’t seeing anyone. John is just a really insecure guy. When someone cheats on you just leave them. If you go back to them then that’s on you and you are choosing to forgive them and move on. You can’t just assume they’re sleeping with anyone and everyone just because they talked to them. I hope John never gets out and Collette should’ve received a much longer sentence.
Great audio
Now Sam and Collette will be happily married behind bars, for 15 years, then she gets to be free to marry another man. While Sam is serving 50 years which should’ve been life or execution.
