    Polaris borked my snowcheck for 146 assault. Now I’ve got 3 options.
    1. Wait until March for my Assault. AKA no riding this year…
    2.Pick up a cancelled snowcheck for 2022 XCR 136
    3.Pick up cancelled spring check 2022 Renegade XRS

    With all due respect to what are usually excellent Snow Trax reviews, I totally disagree with this one. Using the “Indy” name on so many models totally ruins the wonderful heritage of the name. It’s almost laughable that a manufacturer would use one high-level name for two very different chassis (I think it’s actually three if you include the small version), different suspensions, different engines, and many other variations that would take too long to list This is a Polaris marketing gimmick to make buyers feel good about buying an “Indy” model, even if the performance doesn’t match the name and history. It would be like SkiDoo naming 24 models Blizzard or Mach, or Yamaha having 24 V-Max or SRX models. Give us a break, Polaris - not everything in your lineup deserves to be called Indy, and both reviewers and consumers should be calling them out for it.

    • @pajamatime5750
      @pajamatime5750 Před 2 lety +8

      Back in the ‘90’s and early 2000’s the Polaris lineup was almost all “Indy’s”…. Indy XC, Indy XC deluxe, Indy XLT, Indy trail, Indy trial touring, Indy classic, etc…. The list literally goes on forever. Many different engines including twins and triples, chassis, suspension and track / seat lengths. That’s what they’re doing now. You have no clue what you’re talking about Dave! I could see if they called every sled an XCR but the iconic Indy name is an umbrella for several models in their lineup…. Comparing the Indy name in polaris’s lineup to a single model like a Mach or an SRX shows how absolutely little you actually know about the history of the name!! Educate yourself.

    I may be in the minority but I can't stand the new Matryx platform sleds, they are some of the ugliest snowmobiles I've seen polaris make and performance wise aren't an improvement over the Axyis chassis.
