Man, that is a great size. So far I've been a little disappointed with my store bought one, I should've done this!

Если дождь пойдет, то из тента будет ванна. Надо угол наклона сделать от машины, чтобы дождь стекал. А так, отличная идея!!!🤝

Lift kit or spacers and did you need to adjust offset for those tires? Awesome vids btw!

What is your wheels and suspension set? Do you use any lift kit and/or spacers? What wheels and tires do you use?

Hey it seems a little specific to ask, but what brand is your 64 inch basket? I've been shopping around for my 98 CRV and just wanted to get an idea of what some people use for their CRVs

This is a great setup. Just got back from Home Depot with all the materials to make one. Cost me just over $80. Some stuff I have extra and can prob take back. But cheaper for sure. Could only get sch40 pipe. There’s a plumbing place near us and will see if they have sch80. But 40 could be ok at under 6’. Cheers!!

Instead of using sched 80 PVC at 1.25", why not use a 1" EMT metal conduit (or 1" schedule 80)? The 3/4" conduit (.922" OD) should still slide nicely nestled into the 1" conduit. I want my rig to have very little play so it doesn't rustle around and make noise.
Alternatively, I was considering using the 1.25" Sched 80 PVC and nesting a 3/4" EMT metal conduit into a 1" conduit (1.163" OD) to achieve the same goal but have a sturdier telescope.
Do your telescoping conduits bow inward much (if at all)? I'm also trying to go as light as possible but also want sturdy

Kyle Green tires help a ton! Lift is a good idea as well for extra clearance. Hope you’re having a blast with it!
