They left out the fact that Griselda wasn't a good-looking woman. Don't get me wrong, Sofia does a wonderful job in the role, but Griselda wasn't attractive in real life. Why do a lot of movies and shows about criminals, especially ones who aren't good-looking, the lead is very attractive?
Agree. They gave her false teeth, and a prosthetic nose and chin, but it’s still Sofia Vergara. ❤
I know. I saw the behind-the-scenes and it's impressive. It would have been authentic to cast an average-looking actress for the role.

Griselda needed to be either two seasons or 12 episodes.
They left out a lot of important facts. Like how Griselda had no remorse for killing and actually ordered her men to go after whole families and children included. They got Rivi wrong as well.

One thing that Michael said that Ozzy or cheeky was the biggest protege of Griselda. Making millions selling cocaine as well, I wish the show talked more about her kids, because they were portrayed as innocent kids and never really grew up in the show.
That part. Especially when the oldest son in the mini series said he would not be like his mother. Yet he was a drug dealer.
Griselda cheered when one of her former hitmen killed the child of one of her targets.
It seems like they had to make her more sympathetic to sell the story, but they left out a lot of very gruesome and important details (arguably the most fascinating) to prop her up as some kind of semi justified revenge killer. Girl Power?
Yup she was only psychopathic in the 5th episode. She was worse than what they depicted. They used her to tell a feminist criminal fairy tail and gave her way more sympathy than she deserved
If Netflix decides to make a television series about the Ochoa family, the world will finally connect and learn why cocaine and drug war is a joke and still an strong business. Humanity will finally know why the most "respected" and powerfull families in this country are the main drug traffickers bosses allied with right-wing governments and backed up by the army, police and media, historically allies of the drug cartels. This is reason why this scourge continues to exist and will never stop.
That I live three minutes from where she was killed. I want to sue Netflix too for leaving me out of the movie.

No offend or anything, but Griselda Blanco wasn't quite the looker as Sofia Vergara.
She was in her younger years before becoming a drug lord. Documentaries show proof of that. Than her looks disappeared as she got older while a drug lord.
It's a shame that they didn't include John Kennedy Jnr, but they could only feature so much content.
I had no idea that Griselda encountered the Kennedys. The only people I know that she was involved with was Pablo Escabor.
6 episodes wasn't enough. There was enough stories about her to make 2 seasons of 10 episodes per season, just like "Narcos".

Yeah a big one you left out is that Griselda orchestrated the hit on Dario from prison. She had him killed to get Michael. She Netflix show made it seem almost as if her kids had ordered the hit on him and she had no idea.
It was clear that it was her and the sons have been lied to by her team

The first one 2006 on Tubi TV, and Pluto TV free and on Prime Video. The second one 2008 on all of them minus Prime Video and playing on Netflix.

The show sucked like a vacuum hose,terrible depiction of her true life,how do you take out the most important moments in her life ? If you watched any of the cocaine cowboys or any of the other Narcos series you can’t possibly like this,as a matter of fact it will be offensive

I absolutely loved Vargas as Blanco, but the way the story was told was boring. They should have done like Cocaine Godmother, and started with her childhood, or did flashbacks to her childhood. I stopped watching after episode 3.
I will not watch this show without Charles Cosby . Netflix tell the truth about Miss Blanco’s life stop lying!!!!!!!

Neither of them done it right. Griselda was overweight by the time she lived in Miami.
I couldn't stand Sofía Vergara Venezuelan accent when she speak in Spanish. She didn't sound Colombian at all. Very weird considering she's Colombian.
Is not a Venezuelen accent at all. Is Colombian accent, form the Colombian Caribbean cost. Not all of us Colombians speak the same, each region has his own accent.

@@Indomita506 because most associate Colombians with the paisa accent, the only people that talk with a paisa accent are from Medellin. Sofia is from Barranquilla, a Caribbean city in Colombia. that's how they sound there.

This programme made her out to be a scared lil girl, compared to what she was like in real life… worst show to represent someone Criminal enterprise
I was so disappointed in the series. It could have been better it just moved too slow for me. I got to episode 4 and couldn't do it anymore.
Series was mediocre at best and really bad casting of sofia. They also make out to be Sonicare and emotional at times. She killed a kid at 11 was selling drugs in NYC for 9 years before she even went to Miami. 2 episodes left in the series and already don't feel like finishing it. Could have should have been way better.
