There are direct KSRTC Airavat Club Class buses from Mangaluru KSRTC Bus Station (Bejai) to Tirupati everyday. At 12 PM, 2 PM and 8.45 PM.
Return from Tirupati at 6 PM, 6.30 PM and 11.30 PM.
There are a lot of buses to and from Mangaluru and Kasaragod every 30 minutes (except between 9 PM and 5 AM, it's very rare)

tip:1) if your dharshan time is 1 pm, you can enter into queue at 11 or 11.30 am by showing the 300 rupees ticket to the security persons there. they will allow you. no need to wait until the dharshan time to enter the queue.
2) senior citizens ( age above 65) have special dharshan way which took less than 30 minutes to finish the dharshan and come out. senior citizen can opt one person for help ( their age should not below 50). advance booking is must. booking upto october it is over.
