After more than 12 years as a registered nurse, I decided to retire two years ago. It was a difficult decision, but life is too short to hate going to work every day. True happiness cannot be purchased with money. But, friends, I'm not asking you to quit your career or abandon your work; rather, be wise!!!

I know a coworker of mine from the Philippines that left her husband and daughters behind for years while she saved up enough money to sponsor them from the US. She said her daughters didn't recognize her as their mom when they came over since she'd been gone so long.😢

I have applied for my license as a foreign nurse with New York board.
That was May this year, they just replayed my emails from May last week ..lol
I applied with New York board since August my documents arrived at September and I just got Eligible to test on 18 November. It’s such a long journey.

Generally no because they are exempt employees in most cases. The exception is if you are employed as a non-exempt employee or are able to negotiate additional pay after exceeding some hours as an exempt employee.
Dont go to Canada because they dont accept the Nursing degree from the Philippines it is a very difficult battle unfortunately. Go to the country that will not require you to go back to school if they dont want you, thats okay, go to the other country that will accept you.
