Got my son the hopper frogs. He is scared of water. Doesn't like to get his hair wet but he's better with his hair getting washed but still doesn't like pools. We just started medication. He has adhd, autism and anxiety. He is really getting into stuffed animals sometimes now since he turned 4 and he's 5 years old now. I also got him a scavenger kit. He likes realistic stuff like compasses, clocks. Etc. He likes dress up too. It's a cool kit.

Faith, Hope, and Love I tried them with my son becuz of this channel. GET THEM. Best ever. And if they dump em out all over and u moos a few cleaning up. They dehydrate and u sweep em up or vacuum them up.
If you soak water beads in water with a few drops of essential oils it's an even better sensory experience. Highly recommend it!

I laughed when you put the spinner to your head. I often do what my kiddo does just to see why he likes it. Very often, I get it then! Our guy does the gagging thing too, though. I think I will pass on that one. And the pica. 🤣

My brother has autism and we have a hard time finding anything for him this really helped thank you. You are a amazing person for taking time out of your day to help people like me to know what to get him. I have a question for you my brother like to put stuff in his mouth and make himself gag do you have any suggestions on how to help stop that or should I let him do it or stop it?

We have a small ball in the sunday school room the place where people are supposed to put he air or if you could looks different fron the rest of the ball the kid in their with autism thinks it's broken and won't play with it till I put tape over it. I tried to explain to him that's the way it's made but he didn't understand so I just put tape over it.

Lol. Just found this, I assume it’s one of your early ones going by the hair line (ouch! Sorry just joshing)... oh the squids... saw those just the other day...there great. Ha ha ha the spinner, my daughter loves them. Most of the stuff you picked up there we already have so it’s great to know we did SOMETHING right...got tons of bubble guns too. Reassuring to see.

How do you prevent her from eating the water beads and kinetic sand? I remember seeing her put the sand in her mouth in an earlier video. My son puts everything (except food) in his mouth.

+Tenareful I think it's pretty common. We've always done small gifts mixed in with the eggs and candy.
Yes kids usually get a few toys more for Christmas but a few small toys.
Tenareful I would say it's like Christmas stockings but more easter themed stuff and is most likely hidden around the house for more fun

Obviously not all, but some autistic children, mine included, have Pica. Aqua or water beads can be deadly if ingested so maybe make a point of mentioning that.
I have most of the things you said here but I have kinetic sand. So obsessed with that stuff. I love packing it together and then pulling it apart really slowly OMG! I'm a bit anxious to get water beads even though when you showed them last time they look really good. Don't they make a mess?
They aren't messy but they do roll all over the place if not in a container. We like them outside in a plastic tub because we don't have to chase them around the house if a few escape.
Well I might give them a go. But I hate being outside in this country because more often than not its cold and rainy.

Paper grass yes I will use paper grass this easter. That plastic grass the kids are more likely to put in their mouths and suck it down their throats. I work with preschoolers.

Yes, she learned to swim a few years ago and then learned how to dive down and get stuff shortly after that.

Amazing! Go Abbie! I can't swim underwater without holding my nose. But, because i hold my nose i only have one arm to swim with so i just kick my legs like hell and end up going in a circle pmsl. I dont go deeper than i can stand up.... i usually swim a metre then stand there in the pool gasping for air like an eejit😅 love from Ireland x
