I know nothing about guitars, but I still loved watching this because of his passion for these guitars.

Massive talent. Underrated guitar player (to put it mildly). Though I did have a friend back when we were in junior high (who was not a musician) tell me how blown away he was how well Justin could not only play and sing at the same time (which of course MANY people can do), but by how complicated the stuff he was playing while singing over it looked.

Been quite sick for last 9 yrs, so I have just been getting back to my musical interests! MOODY BLUES #1, OF COURSE, and quite frankly you guys and a japanese new age instrumentalist, KITARO, are the only 2 that catch my ears anymore! Tunhuang, the song and Fata Morgana and Sacred Journey I & II are all off the TUNHUANG cd...Justin, U WLD LIKE THESE SONGS!

Justin! Your lyric structure and composition style was my major influence bk in '77 when I got serious abt music and writing songs, ballads and poems. They are copywritten but Unfortunately I have lost my copywrite certificate with the issued number...so, I am going to have to figure out how to get my copies. I used to have them all in my mind and could recite them with no hesitation! Ughh! But...I love you and the Blues beyond words and will always support you guys as I still to this day listen

It would be interesting to know if their instruments felt the effects of the incredible humidity in Paducah, KY. I come from MO and you think humidity couldn't possibly be worse, but what we experienced in Paducah was a little hilarious. No matter what I used my hair was like a dandelion and my husbands big mustache was a fuzz ball. I imagine it must be because of the Ohio River right on the edge of town. I just wonder if their guitars felt that too.

Hi Ray, I don’t why the black guild wasn’t featured here, but I do know that Justin has (or did have) two black guilds, his old road manager Mike Keys told me that one went missing and Justin bought another and sometime later the missing one reappeared.
He also mentioned that the twelve string was left in a truck overnight during a very cold night and this was why the varnish was cracked, I was lucky enough to be the sound engineer for a charity gig Justin did in his hometown of Swindon in the 90’s, he brought with him, the twelve string, the Olsen and the black guild. Happy Days.
