Nevermind editing. Movie studios can do CG better than Unreal any day. Although some studios started using Unreal to cut costs. Especially if they're planning on reusing assets. It's gotten so good that you know you've done a good job if people weren't even able to tell it's CG. Realistic stuff like that costs a fortune to make though.

@@fastgrimjay3092 didn't get a notification but CGI is actually a good alternative and props which are supposed to be destroyed in this case are just props with advanced CGI making it seem as if though it was actively on fire. These kind of cons are sorta common to boost credibility in the market and draw in investors.

@@G1hadi Have you heard of the Arc 770 graphics card? It was pretty shitty on release but with software optimization it's became way better. Before it was slower and just overall worse than an RTX 3060 but now it out performs the RTX 4060 Ti.

What ultimately sells the realism is the fact that the background is actually real. Due to most of the frame being real, we "accept" the burning car as being real despite having some clear inadequacies.

Embergen flows can be exported and used in other engines. A lot of workflows will have many programs doing simulations on key things and then exported to other applications. Physics, hair, volumetrics, etc.

There isnt live footage of those games when you see a person playing it (live stream). Its like those guys doing drifts in GTA (they add some shit after doing a random drifts with mods)

Don't worry, it's only super realistic until they show a human. Even the greatest Japanese 3D artists haven't quite made it to photorealistic humans yet.
Any good modern engine can make something like that, especially something rendered already, its just a matter of how much time you want to put into making it look like that
I think the sound plays a huge part in immersion. Even with photorealistic graphics we would be drawn to imperfections if the sound didn't reinforce the illusion.

Actually that wasn’t made with simulated using Unreal Engine, it was made with a program called EmberGen, a real-time Volumetric and fire simulator.
