5311 v 4231 + brief philosophy

We called it 5311 since I felt it more important to emphasise the defensive attributes of the positions in the formation than anything else.
If we felt that we were the dominant team on the pitch, we would be more a 3421 or even a 3412.
Take note at 9:30 how the midfield slots in to double up on the outside if the back three are stretched.
