That iPad in the Su-27 cockpit may also be part of the integration of Western weapon systems. My understanding is that part of the integration of HARM missiles, specifically, and possibly some other Western weapons includes an adapter rail, an iPad, and some software that allows the iPad to communicate with the adapter rail and the weapon attached to it because the old Soviet-era jets that Ukraine has don't natively support the launch of Western weapon systems.
Ur definition of victory is the destruction of military equipment, but gaining more territory is not a victory.

The 47 brigade was removed from the front because of the massive casualties they had suffered also what you call "meat wave tactics" are the same tactics Ukraine used last summer

Doubt it, biggest issue Ukraine got is manpower, they can't plug the gaps once the Russians are having break throughs, which shows they lack reserves. and even if they force people(kidnapping them on the streets) to the front they won't do any good with a few days of training.
We didn't make Ukraine waste what we gave them by attacking a wall of defenses in the south. Our generals had advised Ukraine over and over not to do it and were ignored because they "didn't understand how this war worked" when they very clearly did. Ukraine is paying for their pride of ignoring NATO when it tried to save Ukrainian lives, material and moral.

Though it’s important to remember, they simply didn’t have the ability to produce things in the quantity needed - the “peace dividend” hurt European industrial complexes even worse than that in the US. Battle for Chasov Yar: Russian Paratroopers have destroyed enemy defenses in Chasov Yar and on the outskirts of thr city. The 98th Ivanovo Airborne Division destroys the enemy day and night, storming the city in the Artemovsk direction. The positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the approaches to the city are also being completely destroyed.
Syrski keeps saying in frontline reports that ZSU intends to preserve the lives of defenders over holding territory. It reminds me of what they had to do back in 2022 before HIMARS arrived. This is a small, although notable advance along a long front line. It's no doubt bad -- but not catastrophic.
I expect the Russians to continue their advance in this area until there's more aid available (which will hopefully arrive shortly). They'll still advance, but at a slower pace, while taking higher casualties IMO

If you look it up, allegedly none are airworthy, but they include models that Ukraine operates. They're likely to be used for spare parts. I think people are looking at this Russian advance situation all wrong. Trying to slug it out with Russia when they have superior numbers and superior artillery volume is a bad idea. So building up elaborate defenses plays to their strength and gives them something to target with their artillery. Their weakness, however, is logistics. The reason they failed so badly early on in the war was that they made TOO much progress and their supply lines got stretched out and turned into a mess by their own disorganization. It also increased the area of contact, making their forces more spread out and thus more likely to be overwhelmed. The reason why Russia was able to stop Ukraine's counter attack was that they were able to rely on their artillery and didn't need to move, so their logistics were not strained. When they move forward, beyond what their artillery can hit, that's when their losses will increase (more than their normal attacks cause). They are also moving farther away from their prepared defenses, making them useless, and they will have to expend more resources to build new ones. This gives Ukraine a better chance to make a counter attack and break through the Russian lines, causing a route like in Kharkiv. That is how maneuver warfare is supposed to work, anyway. All Ukraine needs to do is temporarily give up territory to lure the Russians in.

Sorry I don't agree on defense lines accross whole country as heavily fortified lines are a double-cutting blade. Once fallen, they serve the enemy. So concentrate on saving own soldiers while inflicting most damage until new weapons arrive.
That's wrong, because they face in one direction. The remains of the marginot line didn't really help germans to defend germany in WW2. Also most of the fortifications get destroyed.
You can't just fight russians 1 by 1, you need an advantage, like positions. Ukraine knows, they will slowly retreat for now, and won't attack in the same area later, so the remains of their defenses won't be used against them. Ukraine either holds at strong defense lines, or inflicts damage on russia and pulls back to new lines, but they don't follow the russian doctrine of counterattacking asap after you lose territory. Defensive lines and artillery is, how they have to fight the war, because their population is way smaller, while their weapons work far better with higher range compared to russian weapons, so they want the enemy coming towards them at the same spot again as again, as long as possible, instead of mobile fighting with vehicles on fields, urban fighting or something like that
