I was eighteen years old. My mom and I got stuck in Los Angeles back in the summer of 2001 after we went to the national conference for the Autism Society of America in San Diego. We were supposed to fly to San Francisco because our flight was delayed and my mom called her best friend from college, who lives in Oakland. And we flew there instead for a visit.

Some great footage and a couple of interesting surprises, there! Didn't know TWA and the Delta TriStar were still flying in 2001. Different time, different world, eh?
I don't know when TWA retired there L-1011 jets but Delta Air Lines retired there's later in 2001, I think was at the end of the year or close to end of the year. I had saw a video on CZcams once.
