  • Dr. Cameron discusses the diagnostic value of a lumbar puncture in Lyme neuroborreliosis. The case study features a 61-year-old woman who was initially treated for cellulitis, which was thought to have been due to a spider bite.
Her symptoms included a raised circular rash, neck and arm pain, arm weakness. After she developed Bell's palsy, she was diagnosed with Lyme neuroborreliosis. An IgM Western blot test confirmed the Lyme disease diagnosis.
She refused a spinal tap, as the results would not change the treatment plan.
The study is entitled, To Lumbar Puncture or Not to Lumbar Puncture: A case of Lyme neuroborreliosis

NO! It screwed up my son’s back and they found no Lyme, yet he has it really bad and the rage and psychosis put him in jail and now he has NO treatment and is really sick!

I had the same experience with Lyme Meningitis. It should be treated as a parasite, per Alan B. MacDonald, the Pathologist who researched Lyme since the early 80's. There are videos still found. Good luck.
