We shouldn't really be surprised that the most commonly asked question about our wedding was how much it cost to get married in Bali! You guys love travel as much as us, so a destination wedding is always on the cards, but how achievable is it really? Is it expensive to get a venue? What about a villa wedding? Do you need a wedding planner? Ya'll flooded our inbox haha.
Today we sat down with a bit of a Q&A and then just openly shared all the costs associated with a destination wedding in Bali.... feeling a bit vulnerable sharing this all but we hope it's helpful for you.
It kind of goes without saying, but we obviously absolutely loved Villa Vedas and the team at Bali Love - our dream for getting married in Bali was almost dead until we found this villa and their preferred wedding planner. "A few tears" was an understatement haha.

Loved this series! Yes, you got freakin married, but not everyone has the skill set of presenting it in the most beautiful way that you did. Well done! Congratulations to the both of you! Youre both God sent! You made my fiance and i feel extremely comforted and hopeful that a Bali wedding is achievable. Queenstown was also the top option for us but considering the cost and value ratio, an overseas wedding seems to be the best choice. Thank you, and cant wait to see the wedding highlights video!!

I’ve been watching your videos for almost 5 years … wow I can’t believe time flys so fast… however I know I’ve commented on the past “when are you getting married?” Just because I could see long ago it’s just so obvious that the two of you are kindred spirits and belong together! What a sweet comment! Haha yeah we have got a lot of those same comments over the years, we were never in a rush because we live such an incredible life already with so much to look forward to! As we've gotten older we realised some of it was about taking our fam and friends on an amazing trip too, that part was SO rewarding and special too. Thanks for being part of this for so long!
Congratulations it looked like such a cool wedding! Having a house with your closest people to celebrate is such a cool experience. I got married in December in waihi beach and we spent 30k for about 60 people. So interesting to see what other people spend and how far costs go! I didnt have a wedding planner but can imagine how great they would have been especially in another country! 🎉

Offshore isn’t possible - no wedding villa will work with a planner that isn’t local and can deal with the operators

oh wow that's so cheap. Even Bali in 2023 should cost way more. Video total Package for 1500 Dollar, in the US definitely up to 10k and more. Germany where aim from as well much more. BALI is a Paradise for a destination Wedding..
