Those are the two things i need to do. The handle bars and the seat. 10 miles on mildly bumpy track and my butts needing a break lol.
Ive got the step over but looking at the step thru now as i then can put a box on the rear rack and still get off the bike ok. Not as flexible as i once was.
The tannus tire liners have been great.
And i got a different display that unlocks a little more speed and it also has password protection when turning on for a little bit of added security.
Plus with two Zebras the wife or kids can ride or if im on my own i can carry a spare battery and forget about range anxiety. I get about 30 miles out of each battery as i use power settings 3 to 5 mostly.
Look into and more comfortable seat and maybe a Suntour suspension seat post. made a world of difference for me. I put Flatout in my tires and have not had any issues since and putting new bars and raising them up got me into a nice upright riding position.
Himiway is definitely trying to set themselves apart from other rest. They’re doing a pretty good job of it. Good ride.
Wait til you see their emtb. I hear its going to be in 12 to 15k range.

D5 Pro also has a torque sensor, whereas the D5 & D5 upgraded are still cadence. I just bought the new A7 Pro and am really enjoying it. Still keeping my original Himiway Cruiser, too.
Himiway does make some really good ebikes
Upgrading to a high-rise handlebar would be the first thing I do as well (and maybe a stem extender?). So I wanted to ask if there is enough length in the existing wiring to allow for that? Great video.
There was for me. Originally, I had an even higher stem riser on the Zebra that brought it up another 3 inches before I settled on the height it is now.
The German website says that the D5 upgraded model has a torque sensor

Where are you in the Bay? I grew up in San Mateo & thought you were in Redwood Shores at first but now I think you're somewhere in the south or east bay. I'm out in Folsom now so ride Lake Natoma and Folsom Lake a lot. If you ever want to come up this way to ride, let me know. Have a great weekend!
