- "Soil and Farming 2021" is another massive piece of content from Chidav Agricultural Hub.
Understanding the soil is a fundamental part of crop production. It's the bedrock of any successful farm.
Sadly, most farmers have gone into crop production without properly analyzing their fields and as such have had great losses due to unhealthy soils.
This video is to enlighten our viewers on the need for proper soil analysis prior venturing into crop production.
We at Chidav Agricultural Hub in collaboration with SIDA Farms, help farms get established and we run professional soil sampling and analysis services for interested corporate and individual farms.

I totally agree with all you said. Checking the soil is more like the foundation to having a successful planting season. It helps saves unnecessary cost on things not needed. Welldone Sir
Thanks for this insightful video
Thanks for your feed back. We need to grow above all these ways planting here in Africa
Really hope all farmers in Africa would see and adhered to this simple farming techniques.
Weldone
Brilliant, absolutely the truth and the right thing to do
Very true Sir.
I just hope most farmers can adhere to this simple rule
Thanks for those information
This is so true.. It's beyond the physical look. All some people do is look at the soil and it's color and then we say it's loamy and very good😂. Knowledge is power
That's my point Molayo. We need to grow beyond this way of farming.
Very detailed Sir. Thanks a lot
You're always welcome @sidafarms
👏👏👏
Very informative on how to identify the right soil for planting. I enjoyed watching this, when time i will know if I call for evaluation of soil.
Thanks so much for your feedback.
Would definitely be looking forward to that ma'am
Well done sir I need more knowledge on banana plantation
I agree with chidav. But I observe most of the these dried plantain leaves behind you are not pruned from the stems. Are they not necessary to cut off? Thanks
At the time I filmed the video, the plantains had not been pruned.
They ought to be pruned and should never be in that state.
Thanks for the observation.
@@ChidavAgriculturalHub I really like your channel and I have been addicted to it mainly. I like to visit your location if you're in Lagos state. I'm at itaoluwo ikorodu. Please can I go ahead to plant my suckers since I just finished laying water pipes on the 6plots with the help of plumbers. I have been wetting the land since two weeks ago. I am eager to do this as I can't wait till next raining season. What is the implications. Thanks
@@inubaye2030 yes please, you may go ahead with the planting of your suckers. But would also need you to get some poultry manure on ground. As you would need to have some in the ground before planting.
And though based in Lagos, we don't have our farm in Lagos.
Just use Lagos mainly for administrative duties.
And I'm also super happy to know you're a great lover of the brand "Chidav Agricultural Hub". We do really appreciate.
Thanks so much.
