I've always thought Black Widow would be a great character for Brubaker/Philips to collaborate on. She seems perfect for the type of stuff they do on a regular basis. Can't fault Mark Waid/Samnee though. Everything they've done together has been totally on point. I wish they'd managed to do more Rocketeer stuff though.
The Marvel Knights books with Black Widow are really good too. Both Devin Grayson and Greg Rucka really showed love for the character, and the new TP even includes Rucka's Yelena Belova Marvel Max mini-series.
I don't have any Black Widow material so I'll have to pick these up. Without this overview I wouldn't have paid much attention to these books so much appreciated!
All I know, is that Marvel better give Black Panther the same treatment when BP2 hits theaters. An Omnibus by Christopher Priest, or Reginald Hudlin please.
Great video Omar, I pre-ordered Black Widow by Waid & Samnee and Web of Black Widow from my lcs and will be picking it up when next I go, I've been picking up all the new Widow trades that have come out recently I hope Marvel does a complete collection by Nathan Edmondson as that's the last run we need and then we will have a complete Black Widow solo library in thick trades.
Great titles, I will pick up the complete collection and the team-up books digitally. Any book thinner than an epic will be a digital purchase from now on for me. I agree with you, we need a Marvel Team-up and or a Marvel Two-In-One omnibus. Great video as usual Omar.

The way this run starts off is insane! Sucks about this story getting cut off at twelve issues. I agree about having this in OHC but does Marvel do that? I've only seen omnibuses with Marvel. That BW omnibus can't come soon enough. lol

I really need to finish that run for some reason I only read half of it.
Iron Cardinal and it was her longest solo series to date.

Oh you know they will. I think we'll get a classic Omnibus and then a Priest omnibus or I could be wrong. They may go with Tanahesi.

The Edmondson run needs some love for sure. Better than the Waid/Samnee IMHO.
