Excellent video! Need more Brett in the Krx. The tires look good. I ride Ohio and West Virginia mostly and they should do well for my type of riding.

I'd say the Maxxis Rockzilla might have kept Scott from falling in that hole... maybe. The vanquish tires didn't do bad at all tho and I like the wheels!
Yes, I agree. I think the 370s hurt him there. It’s hard to find the best all around tire that is great at everything. These vanquish tires surprised me and the zillas and 370s are hard to beat.
Who all has trail active or rock mode, visco or smartlok? X3’s depending on model are night and day. The mechanical set up aids big time especially in rocks. Those tires look similar to Tusk Terrabites and they are a great all around tire however Zillas or Liberty both sticky compound are by far best for rocks and if going mud just get Motohavocs.
The RC has a diff lok mode and the other X3’s and the KRX have mechanical lockers. The tires surprised me and can definitely hold their own.
@@TheCanAmCrew yeah RC’s are beast I have one only other model in our group that comes close to following me is my cousins KRX but even it can’t make some of the climbs or same line I take but he does have Carnivores which are good but lack some on rocks.

thanks for the video, great channel! just got the rockzillas and started second guessing it since I have 2 creeks and dirt hills on my property. Think it's gonna be alright, most places I go to are all rock. Still running the visco housing/halo set up? If it's working for you still, then I am gonna pull the trigger on it!
In my opinion the roxxzilla is the best all around tire. There is no tire better than a zilla on the rocks. They are great at everything else like dirt climbs. The vanquish tires did great on everything as well but has a harder compound so it’s not going to perform like a zilla. Honest opinion is for trail riding and some hard pack the vanquish tire is going to be amazing. For the more technical aspect with rocks and climbs the zilla is what you want. And if you steer more toward dirt and mud then the xtr370 would be my choice. We’re running a halo 30 now. We’ve since upgraded from the locker kit to the 30. The visco axles weren’t holding up to our riding anymore.
How many belts have you gone threw ? Love the video
We haven’t blown any belts yet but we replace them every 2-3,000 miles as part of our maintenance routine. So far 8200 miles on them.
I just bought some of these as they were having a wicked sale on them. $440 shipped for 5 30x10x14. Not sure how long you ended up running them for but do you have any remarks after having them for a while?
They were an ok tire. They don’t compare to a zilla but for trail riding they would be great

Yes. I would say rim size would have a effect on traction
What are you guys running for skid plates? Anything other than stock?
We are still on stock skids.

What happened to the krx not doing no rocks
He’s still not comfortable doing certain trails. Still getting used to the KRX and doing more technical type trails.
What is the offset on the wheels?? Good lookin tire!
They are a 5-2 offset.
So if i wanted to keep my stock wheels and get a different set of tires, is that possible. Or do I have to buy another set of rims?
Yes sir. you can just buy tires if you want.
@@TheCanAmCrew but do I have to change rear wheel to the same as front to have matching tire size all the way around? I will leave you alone after this. Just trying to avoid buying wheels. May have to buy a couple of fronts though, huh?
@@philliprievley7207 I’ve heard of people running the same size tire on can and wheels. I think front is an inch smaller in width than the back. I don’t think it’ll hurt anything but it’s definitely better having the same size wheels all the way around. I almost forgot some can ams came with different size wheels haha.
