It's interesting to see Motorola gliding back with might. I don't know much but budget phones should include an Asus, a Vivo, a Xiaomi and a One Plus. Otherwise i respect all the kings listed on this video but i go with Xiaomi's Redmi Note 12 Turbo 1TB. Here's what i call a budget phone that gives you high tech at an affordable price of around $200+
I have owned the last 3 models of the moto g stylus the loved them all. Not only that each new model felt like a meaningful upgrade. And I have been saying this for years but I find that the moto gestures supremely underrated. Especially the "chop chop" gesture that turns on the flashlight even if the phone is locked. I use basically every day multiple times. I'm not a big camera guy but the "twist twist" gesture to launch the camera and the "three finger screen hold" that takes a screen shot and gives you pop up shortcut option that will open the picture in the editing app where you can immediately start using the stylus on the image.
How is Asus a budget phone? The new Asus Zenfone 10 costs 800 euros lol

First off, a very weird choice of words. Secondly, the phone with the chipset this video refers to is the 2021 model. 2022 - 2023 models are receiving shittier Meditek chipsets. How is that 'gliding back with might'?
The iphone se does not belong on this list. Having a "best iphone" category is also stupid, as there are no benefits to having an iPhone. And who on earth calculated 15 hours, its clear you haven't used the phone, it manages 4 hours at best
My dad has this phone and he doesn't absolutely hate it but he doesn't really like it that much either. The processor sucks in the battery life is crap. The phone lags and crashes apps pretty regularly as well.

Iphone SE? You must be trolling. As a person that has used one, believe me, you 100% dont want to spend a good amount of money just on a logo and blue text. The actual performance, no matter what they tell you, is same as the Xiaomi redmi note 6 pro, if not even worse. This is so not an option. 👎

For me a budget phone is under $100. And will only do prepaid. Have had a flip phone for awhile after my cheap $40 smartphone shattered so easily after hitting the ground from a low point of falling. Flip phone is amazingly durable all on it's own but not good for texting, internet needs or needing a picture for something etc. My sons $800 phone got a crack in the screen after it tapped on pavement not fully falling. He currently has a phone costing over $1000 and has had for at least a few years now completely intact. Any phones costing that much should automatically come with protectors for it. You shouldn't have to buy that separate.

I've done repairs on all of these phones excluding the Apple.
With care, they are all fairly easy to repair for competent hobbyist and diy, so also good for repair rather than replace.
And a note to all diy guys like myself, make sure to remove dents from a case before installing a new screen. The dents will crack new glass.

Exactly. I had an iPhone XS Max which has a 6.5 inch display and that was still too big for me even with the case off. I wanted to get the 6.1 inch Galaxy s23 but I didn't have enough money to get it when my iPhone quit charging so I ended up getting the 6.6 in Galaxy A23 5G because that's the smallest they had and that's what I could afford. I can't even use this phone with a popsocket because the phone is so heavy that it literally breaks the popsocket. Without a popsocket and with a case on it hurts my wrist and hand.

I had an awful experience with Apple SE: no 5G, awful connectivity, constant interference of WI-FI / data for internet connection, disappointing speakers, and both charging and mic broke after 1.5 years of usage. Disappointing battery as well. I got it refurbished in excellent conditions with 93% battery. Never again.

Pixel 6 dislodges sim every other hour so you have to turn it off and eject the sim to get it to register that it has a sim. Don’t bother. Battery life is shockingly short too.

How the hell can the SG 14 have so short of a battery life 🤯 is an ok but low feature phone with a good sized 5000 mh battery YET , can only manage around 2 days from a charge 🤯.

not sure why phone manufactures bother with new lower end phone when it makes more sense for those users that want a cheap phone to just buy the last generation flagship phones for less than what a new crappy phone cost $300 in July 23 can get you a Samsung s21 ultra in mint condition1 or for $200 a note 10 plus both much better than any of these phones! everyone else me included we just get a new phone every 2 -3 years under contract .

I don't think you understand the meaning of "Budget" also anyone who likes budget phones will not care about features. I just want a second line for my business, I do not care about any of these unnecessary features like camera or screen quality. I just want a phone that works like a phone, and that's it. Lots of phones today suck as actual phones. None of these descriptions mentioned what bands or hrz these phones operate on for actual phone quality.

The Google pixel 6A is a complete and utter pile of garbage from the first week I had that phone I had nothing but issues with the GPS retaining a signal for data and there's no settings to switch your GPS to like accurate or whatever options that were available in previous pixel phones even and every other Android phone I use but nope not the 6A always thinks I'm on a different street.
Only cheap phone is the Motorola.
