Going blonde is a journey, my recommendation is to wait a couple weeks and get it done again however I might get another stylist. Red hair is nearly impossible to fully get rid of with bleach. When someone has dyed red hair they need to do a color remover and then start the bleaching process to go blonde. Bleaching on top of red is both damaging and a waste of time since it won’t give the result you want

I think going for a second session would get you the results you want! But I wouldn’t go the same stylist. As a cosmetology student I feel like she could have given you a little dimension to be closer to your desired look but that’s just my opinion. Either way you always look gorgeous 😍💕
I agree! I think the fact that my hair wasn’t virgin and she had to do a correction really took her for a loop lol but thank you boo!
On virgin hair, going to that color of blonde will take a few weeks (rushed) to months/year(s). Hewan, a CZcamsr, lifted her hair so you can check that out. Rari Kari, another CZcamsr, frequently dyes her hair to blonde so you can check out her intense process as well but she's a results immediately type lol.
I underestimated the process and I’m also a results immediately type lol but thanks for the recommendations will check them out!

Girl I dyed my hair from magenta to blonde and it looked like this. I used blue shampoo, blue conditioner, and a blue hair mask and it took away alllll the brasiness and orange! Try it!! 💕

@@Bycandicejones it won't work because of basic colour theory and the red molecules will not lift because they bigger than normal and cling into the cortex of the hair .Try the baking soda method but deffo follow up with some protein treatments

We have the same exact hair! I was able to go blonde this summer and I did it myself without ruining my curls. What worked for me is doing bleach washes, that’s what helped me get rid of my red & was able to get to blonde.
I skipped to the end to see the result because of the title. It's ginger which is the hottest hair color this season so you're right on trend! You can dye your extensions ginger/spiced auburn to match.
I've been where you are before. I would wait and also be sure that the stylist specializes in hair color. You still look cute 😍

You just have to wait before a next session of bleaching.I was told similarly when I had a bleach test done on my already highlighted hair.The bright blonde color can’t be achieved in one sitting if you want healthy hair 🤷🏽♀️

This is still cute but I feel you should have done a color consultation first. They could have done a patch test to make sure it could lift and also see where they needed to start from. Best of luck on your blonde journey 💛.

i liked how your hair was styled in the final clip! sorry that it didn't turn out the way you wanted it to though. also, pintura highlights may provide that multidimensional look you're going for if you decide to return to the salon in the future!

This color looks really good on you 😍😍 even though I know this isn’t what you wanted. I’d just say to wait a few weeks and then try it again so you don’t damage your hair.
so I actually went blonde from being red and after toning my hair was similar to you color and after a while the color faded and cancelled the undertones out ( red which usually is the same undertone for black hair) and i ended up actually with a blond color , so i would say give it some time and your color might lighten up, also its not a good idea ro get that blond in one sitting , it is a process and best done in little steps

I’m trying to get my hair back to boob length so I will need some advice I don’t normally do hair treatments 😢but then again I have pretty course hair

throw a toner and purple shampoo over it!
It looks amazing but if you keep bleaching it, it will be a ticking timebomb and will eventually slowly dissolve down the drain lol. You will have a timeline of 3-5 years max until the bleached parts fray and you lose even a year off that every time you re-bleach it
Here’s a tip, look into fast hair growth shampoo to double hair growth.

You really needed pintura highlights, they paint the individual curls. And you should always go in with your natural curl pattern, that way the stylist can see the curls and paint the curls. And you need to do it in sessions. This stylist has no clue what she’s talking about. Balayage is free hand painting of color and/or bleach. It’s done on wavy to straight hair.
I knew it wasn’t gonna go your way when she just went straight with the bleach instead of lifting the red. Everyone knows red is stubborn, your stylist should’ve been more knowledgeable.
Just go for another session to lift it to a lighter yellow and then the toner will be able to work.
My biggest fear. But I want color smh. You're still cute tho lol

😕 please do better research next time. This stylist had no technique or method to how she was applying the dye. Balayage is a whole process. There’s this girl Kamrin White on YT that lives in FL and the colourist she goes to always do her blonde right.
@candice jones. She dont know what she is doing. Picked the wrong stylist. You should have made an appt with an expert COLORIST. 4:00 & 6:00. She asking you YOUR OPINION. WHO IS THE EXPERT???
She ruined your hair. Where did you find her?! She should have done a test strand. This is horrible.
