Tons of places to visit in the Northeast. To name a few:
Mawlynnong, Meghalaya - Cleanest village in India plus a living root bridge
Dawki, Meghalaya
Kaziranga, Assam - One Horned Rhino
Majuli, Assam - River island
Rumtek Monastery, Sikkim
Nathula Pass, Sikkim
Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh
Plus you could go to Bhutan from Assam. It's hardly a 5 hour journey from Guwahati.
varun is a great storyteller!
Kautuks puns are improving 😂😂
Ashish Choithani the cheeni joke was the best. 😂
Yeah 😂
I agree, there was almost no awkward silence-second or fidgety-nervous laugh moment in this podcast. Way to go kid! :)
Ashish Choithani I think he had it in mind way before varun finished it.. He has copied it from somewhere else and just pasted it here.. Hahahahaha... Try seeing his expression before he says it xD
Kautuk and Karan bought their Tees on 'buy one, get one free' offer.
tushar jain I hate such shirt's
tushar jain For some reason im feeling that getting high with SNG will be fucking great!!!
tushar jain those are shirts.
First of all they are shirts and not tees
One of the hidden gems is Spiti Valley in Himachal. Go there before it gets commercialised!!
Neil Joshi I agree
just saw this comment while rewatching, and you were right my friend!
The Way Varun said that Kheer Ganga walla snippet, I could literally feel each moment of it

Hello dear
From North-East! If you are planning to visit the place then you should go to Meghalaya- Dawki, Mawlynnong- Asia's cleanest village. You won't even see a tiny chocolate wrapper in this place! Home stays in Mawlynnong is amazing! Experience of a lifetime.
Another amazing trekking experience is when you visit Dzukou valley in Nagaland! It is heavenly!
North-East is a place worth visiting! :)
Sucheta Ray wow... Amazing
Wow! The North east is definitely on my "To go" list and your comment has just taken it closer to the top. I've always wanted to visit Kaziranga and see a Rhino in its natural environment. Also ever since I read about Majuli, I hope I got the spelling right, its been on my list too.
Indian Foodie You should definitely visit Kaziranga as well as Majuli. Seeing the rhinos in the National Park is a sight to behold. :)
mawlynnong is seriously the best place....loved it!
Shillong, tawang, gangtok, majuli, loktak..these are some heavily places in NE
Loved this podcast! 😂😂😂 that bhaang story maharana pratap😂😂😂
Hi, I am a keralite, About backwaters Ernakulam is too overcrowded, you have to go Ashtamudi in Kollam to see the beauty, Kumarakom, Gavi, Munnar are also places you go and fall in love with nature!!
I've been to munnar, it's beautiful! It was my favourite place in Kerala.
Andaman! how come no 1 is talking about it? Guys, the scuba diving there is surreal. Doesn't even cost much tbh, in exchange for that amazing experience deep down the sea. 😅 for me Leh-Ladakh and Andaman have been the best tours of my life. Why would one want to visit Thailand / Singapore/ America and woh fuckall Disneyland when India has so many incredible destinations? I wouldn't choose to travel anywhere else 🙌
Somdatta Chakraborty yup..Andaman and Nicobar.. Radhanagar beach at Havelock is paradise
Ambuj Yadav yes, indeed! Also, contrary to popular belief that Jarwas are dangerous, people who've been to Andaman only know that they've already made attempts towards being civilised. In fact during our drive through the forests(on our way to Baranagar, if I recall correctly) we saw 2 men from the Jarwa tribe appointed as police helpers to control the traffic!
Somdatta Chakraborty I also think Andaman is so underrated
That's true❤️❤️❤️
Radhanagar is so surreal ! Golden sand and clear blue waters...it was amazeballs..
Katao in Gangtok is known as the "Switzerland of India". You guys might want to visit that place. :)
I witnessed cowtuk growing from shitty spectacles wala stand up to this!!
Kautuk's subtle comedy is too good.
Varun lying about the fried pizza story, he told the same story for holi party where he had bhaang too 😂
Karnataka Beaches are amazing. Also Konkan area in Maharashtra is unexplored. It is amazing u will see true hospitality in konkan areas
Please make part 2 of this video ... I really enjoyed the episode after a long long Time.
Sng Comedy are you going to do something special for the 50th episode?
You guys should definitely go to the tea and the coffee estates of Karnataka and Kerala.. Ooty and Munnar to start off with. It's an experience all together! The beauty of the place is certainly breathtaking! Also, the beaches of Kovalam in Kerala can any day give the Goan Beaches, a competition.. and for a plus point, they are less populated and very clean! :)
You guys should definitely visit Sikkim... Awesome place and great people!!
You should really go to havelock and portblaur in andaman island... Its beautiful
@10:10 Kautuk is judging Fried Pizza 😂. I feel 5 years later Kautuk will love it.
1. Biswa again 2. Neville again 3. Aadar, where the hell are you?!
Also, is Neville's any standup clip coming up anytime soon?
U ppl shud go to Shilong....its lovely there...also the cleanest village of India! (do try chicken tandoori there) :)
njoyitdude S it is the capital of Meghalaya....also Meghalaya has the cleanest village
yup the village of mawlingnong..right?
We have Govt. authorised bhang shops in Noida and other parts of UP. I am surprised its not there in Mumbai..
And the fort in Jaisalmer was Golden fort, Amer fort is in jaipur
You have to see gulmarg, pahalgam and drass in Kashmir they are amazing. Also hampi it's amazing.
In the south do visit Kodaikanal and Ooty, Ooty is like shimla of the south and Kodaikanal is just a thing of beauty. Same as Varun i had the opportunity to go there through my BMM course :D
I'm from North East.. from Guwahati,Assam..do come here.. lots of awesome places to visit in NE India.. like Shillong, Dawki, Cherrapunji, Kaziranga, Majuli, tezpur, Tawang and many more
Onkar Roy but I've heard NE is a horrible place to go if you are a vegetarian.. is it true?
Robert Joyce no there are vegetarian restaurants in NE.. In Assam and Tripura there are vegetarian restaurants in huge numbers.. In the other states there are comparatively less.. but still a little search will find you one..
Onkar Roy oh okay.. thanks man!
Onkar Roy Brother, please help me with a 7 day itirenary for North-east! Where to start and how to approach other beautiful places there.
Andaman Islands, Lakshadweep guys, maybe a future Ibiza for India........!!
Advaith Pillai Havelock in Andamans have the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen.. Better than Bali or any other islands or even west coast..
Advaith Pillai
yes ! Finally someone said it.
apart from Havelock, there's so much to that place ....
I stayed there for 8 months in there...for new airport construction but that stopped & now sapoorji will build it. Jarwa Tribe, Rock climbing, obviously scuba & all, Me & my staffs hired a boat for a day...Went on fishing on it, landed on a deserted island, cooked food ,, saw sea crocodile, Pawan Hans Helicopter ride, Ross Island, Bamboo Flat, India's shortest National Highway to Diglipur, Authentic Sea Food, Some days I was walking near the runway (Obviously I had pass & Our operations near runway), Maya Machhi (Best chakna in local bars)....ah ! the memories..
Wow ..Lucky you..I feel I can spend my lifetime there..So serene..I wish I get an opportunity like the one you got!!!
Please bring Biswa again.!
Rishabh Pandey tatti tera naam kya hai
That was the funniest shit on Quora I have ever read
1. Andamans @ winter
2. Kodaikanal @ monsoon
3. Coorg @ monsoon
4. Dirang (Arunachal Pradesh)@ summerand winter, but not monsoon
5. Aru Valley, Kashmir @ summer and winter
Wellington in TN and Daman & Diu are great places to visit.
just been to Kufri ( an hour or two from shimla) best place i ever visited!!
Thakur , sad to see you have bad experience of God's Own Country , I have been there and it's amazing serene.Try vembanad lake , Allepy ,komarakam ,kottayam , thekkady ,munnar area etc !! beautiful place it be !!
Neeraj S I can vouch for these
Been the last year and can vouch for it.
All the areas are awesome, but - what he said is actually true. Cleanliness IS a big issue - not just in Kerala - but all around the country.
I have travelled completely across India on a bike.. started from Bangalore and came back in about 2 months time just before I left India last year. there are a ton of places that people should visit across India - there are these twin beaches called aarey-warey beach near rarnagiri, serene and most importantly untouched and as clean as it gets. there is kutch, dholavira and Rani ki vav in Gujarat, there is ranakpur in Rajasthan along with all the other forts and cities, there is the plains of Punjab and amritsar and towards North there is srinagar, and all of Kashmir and himachal is a blisa. there is spiti valley that people rarely go to, towards east sikkim there is zuluk valley, there is gangtok where Buddhist culture is unbelievebly well preserved. towards east in addition to temples, as you go south There is pondicherry, rameshwaram and Dhanushkodi in the east coast. there is this beautiful place called varkala in Kerala, it's famous amongst foreigners for being one kf thd only place where you can surf all year round. you guya should take 2 months off and travel the country on road. it's cheap and easy to travel.. I did it on a bike and took my 53 year old mum with me as Phillip. through out.
its a beautiful country to live in.
I think, ganpatipule near ratnagiri is a superb place to travel.
the beach is so transparent and clean that we can see things inside it.probably in terms of ambience and cleanliness,it is better than Goa untill it is recognizable!!
Hands down one of the best episodes...
Varun: I saw the most beautiful thing in my life.
Kautuk: baba was standing naked.. 😂😂
Sikkim and Darjeeling. The road going from Darjeeling to Gangtok is THE BEST. Darjeeling with its roads around Chowrasta, and Sikkim with it's monasteries and the people and frozen lakes and the Yumthang valley... Amazing
Varun Thakur is my fucking inspiration man, he does embarrassing stuff, had many girlfriends, has so many adventurous and amazing stories to tell about himself, I want to live like him!!!!!
Tezpur Assam -Tawang Arunachal Pradesh. Awesome journey, 1 key highlight: Sela top pass.
Chalakudi Kerala to Valparai Tamil Nadu. Amazing landscape filled with forest and tea-estates on either sides, 1 key hightlight: Sholayar dam. (nothing to do with Sholay)
Puri and Konark in Odisha. Roaring waves of BoB and the best sunrise. Best spots are away from the busy areas near the temples.
Darjeeling and Kalimpong in West Bengal. Again its an awesome journey and delectable street food in Kalimpong.
you guys must trek to the sahyadris in maharashtra...forts and mountains.. adrinial rush
Its seven sisters and not seven states😂😂😂
But they are seven states.
Had a similar Jaisalmer story. The fort you mentioned is golden fort (sonar kila). The guy suggested the medium one. We had it and roamed around the fort. We didnt feel a thing. Coming back, we scolded him saying that its not trippy. He gave the strong one then. That was the highest point of my life. We had an over night journey to Ahmedabad. We had no fkin how we reached !
You guys have to go to the north-east. Not just the popular places like Shillong and Tawang, tiny places like Meou(the spelling might be wrong), a tiny village known for it's hand woven carpet industry in Arunachal Pradesh. I won't be lying if I say it's heaven on earth. Majuli island(largest river island in Asia) in Assam is a must go place. The Brahmaputra is absolutely breathtaking.
The reason why the north-east is so great is probably because it is highly unexplored.
17:05 - 17:11 i don't remember the last time i laughed so much ! Epic stuff guys!
Light house beach in kovalam, kerala...only european tourists n surfers ..clear blue water, huge waves..
best episode so far! also the more you watch these vid podcasts, the more you realise that actually Kautuk is the funniest of them all hehe x
This was a special episode guys...I'm suddenly feeling the urge to trek to Kheerganga!! :P :P
Been there but post mid November it's risky
Guys, the South Canara region of the Western Ghats is a MUST. The place has got all these shrines, which themselves are awesome! Even if you're an atheist, the faith you see there, is just out of this world! And other than that, the road trips in that region is the most beautiful thing I've seen. I've seen the Himalayas, but I still feel that the Western Ghats are the best! It's just so serene. A recommended trip would be to visit Kudremukh, which had India's largest iron ore mines before it was shut down in 2006 for environmental issues, and Agumbe, a small village which is home to the Agumbe Rainforst Research Centre, where great biologists from around the world research at! The ghats are just unreal! Then, on your way back to the National Highway circuit, the route via Udupi is just the best thing ever! I've seen a river flowing parallel to the road on my right, the Arabian sea to my left, and the sun and moon in the same frame! That experience was unreal! Without a doubt, this is a MUST explore!
i didnt want this episode to end !
Came from from sikkim two weeks ago...and yes..people are way nicer than i've seen in any part of India, they are beautiful inside out(seriously they dress up so well). The weather is amazing, views are magnificient...i would love to go back again, its heavenly,😍
Loved you guys at YTFF. SNG❤
Any upcoming shows in Mumbai?
Soo happy to see you guys come up with North-East. I'm from Guwahati, and I am telling you, if you are a nature lover, North-East is your destination. Some of the best places I have been to here are Tawang(Arunachal Pradesh), Shillong, Dawki, Cherrapunjee(Meghalaya). Assam in particular has a rich heritage; do google Majuli(river island), I am sure you don't wanna miss it. The national parks are a must visit.
Tom accounts board exam and this why 😂
The mountains are calling, & you must go ;)
Spiti Valley, Himachal - cold desert in Himalayas with beautiful towering peaks. (adventure ride adorned with natural beauty).
Chitkul, Himachal - the last inhabited village near Indo-Tibet border. (perfect to break from crowd & enjoy purposeful solitude).
Gurudogmar Lake, Sikkim - one of the highest lakes in the world, surrounded by stunning snow clad mountains.
Valley of Flowers, Uttarakhand - World Heritage Site with majestic view of blooming flowers & green meadows.
That ladakh joke! Karan😂😂
My recommendation for North East based on my experience and what I have heard.
1. Tawang- Arunachal
2. Mechuka- Arunachal
3. Shillong, Cherrapunjee, - Meghalaya
4. Gangtok- Sikkim
5. Majuli- Assam
Kashmir *mic drop*

I was in Shillong for 5 years ,and the place is AWESOME .....It was there long time back so don't remember much i do remember a place in Cherapunji from where you can see 7 waterfalls and it's was just out of the world bro...... and a natural bridge which was made just the root of trees that was really interesting ...................... then there is a Village which was awarded as the CLEANEST VILLAGE IN WHOLE WORLD or ASIA i don't remember correctly ............. if u can just go when the rainy season is about to end thats perfect time to visit.......

I went to Sikkim last year. The place is just magical, right out of the scenery. You remember, when we were kids and we used to draw a scenery, there's river coming out from between the mountains and sun is rising/setting from between the series of mountain ranges, then we had a house in the corner... This entire scene has come from there!! They say Kashmir is heaven on earth but guys trust me Sikkim is heaven on earth and for that matter the entire northeast is marvelous!!! Do pay a visit and you wouldn't wanna come back!
Where is Aadar re?
I went to Guwahati and Shillong in the North East. You guys really have to go there. On your way to Cherrapunjee, you will see almost a 100 tiny waterfalls. And there's this root bridge place near Shillong where there's this huge bridge which is all roots and branches of trees that have been trained to form a bridge by the locals over centuries. And you'll feel how clean and pure the waters are there because your hair will feel all soft every time you wash it.
I'll explore more of the NE soon. Great great place.
With the speed at which members are reducing...I'm sure Varun will be the last man standing in the next video.
Very true about N.E...I am born n raised in Bombay but now settled in sikkim..You sacrifice a shitload of stuff like night life..access to food n transport round the clock like we have in Bombay but in sikkim..mental peace..no pollution of any kind..sexy weather n the view..Is worth sacrificing my life in Mumbai..
northeast has asia's cleanest village!
And it is not that clean either. The tourists spread filth and plastics as souveniers
Gormint and Chini...Those two puns were hilarious XD
Baba was standing naked! 😂😂😂
☺️👍
Acha laga Kheerganga ka sunke.Probably the most under-rated places/treks in India. We went there in June, last year.Really nice place.
It's TIBET not China.
Since I am from the South I think that Hampi is definitely one place you should visit. The beauty of Hampi doesn't lie only in the history behind the city, it also includes the beautiful and drastic changes in landscape. Oh and also you guys should visit Mangalore for a show lol.
NOTIFICATION SQUAAAAAD WADUP
Assam has a lot of wildlife sanctuaries and national parks, Brahmaputra is our pride and lifeline, there are a lot of monuments built by the Ahom dynasty in Upper Assam and to built those duck/hen's eggs mixed with soil and pebbles and stuff were used for cementing purpose. Those monuments are still upright.
Apart from that the tea gardens are mesmerizing. From Assam one can go to Meghalaya, apart from the normal touristy places in shillong, there is this small town called Dawki that shares the border with Bangladesh and the lake there is crystal clear!
Haven't been to Mizoram, Manipur (it's not always not safe to go FYI), Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh (But I have heard it's absolute beauty).
In Nagaland, I was there for two days in Dimapur for an interschool competition so definitely didn't get to go around much. however, the train journey from Nagaland to Assam was the best journey I had because of the scenic beauty.
Also, even though Gangtok is not part of the seven sisters, if you're around, it's worth going there as well. From Assam one needs to take a train to New Jalpaiguri Jn. From there board a bus or some jeep to go uphill to Gangtok.
Andaman islands how bow dah
One of the gem places id like to suggest is pokhara, nepal. It is so so so pretty.
plz call Varun Grover for podcast it will be awesome
Damanjuri in Odisha, Bhimbhetka caves in MP, Rishikesh, Kanyakumari, Andaman, Diu- all worth travelling to!
The big question: WHICH IS BETTER, DELHI OR MUMBAI?
Paramvir Singh It should be 'why is Mumbai better?'
Paramvir Singh one does not compare a chocolate pudding and a piece of SHIT . They may look the same , but the difference is apparent.
Chirag Galani so which is the chocolate pudding and which is the p.o.s?
Du_ hast meich Mumbai = pudding
(As I said "apparent")
Chirag Galani aahh...missed the detail...
gotta agree on that though
Lonavala man.
I'm from South Africa and was in Mumbai, Lonavala and Goa for around 3 weeks. Lonavala is damn amazing. Just walking the streets, and you can because it's not as busy as Bombay.
My native place is GOA............................
Man, I'm in Goa right now. Can you please please suggest some good things to do in Goa apart from beaches? Like trek, island trip etc.? Thanks mate!
You can visit the most famous 3 kings church, casino royal and even the fort in south goa. At goa karnataka border there is doodh sagar waterfall(featured in chennai express) and a wildlife sanctuary at a distance of 30 mins drive from the waterfall
Akash kambli Visit Club Cubana bro
This episode is so underrated, just like the tourist destinations discussed here

Am I on Adafruit?
A hidden gem!!! Choordhar in outer himalyas... a trekking place!!! One of The hardest trek ever
Hampi
Tirthan, Himachal Pradesh on the Parvati Valley route is beautiful. It's not as commercial as manali or shimla and that's what makes it even more beautiful. It's located on the bank of a river stream surrounded by mountains from all sides. A perfect place to just relax and enjoy.
If I'm not mistaken, it comes under Great Himachal National Park, right? The UNESCO World Heritage Site
Koi aa nhi raha... Khud hi podcast kar rahe😂😂😂😂.. Call sahil khattar

Pondicherry is great. Madhya Pradesh has many hidden gems and nice places to visit. (Tawa Nagar, Pachmarhi, Kahna National Park, Panna National Park).
