Thanks for the video. I went to the Kenworth dealer this evening and picked up my flaps. Will be fabricating them tomorrow. 👍👍👍

Got a set of International Harvestor mud flaps given to me as a gift that I want to put on my Silverado to replace the generic factory hard plastic ones. This gives me some ideas. Thanks Paul. The Duramax is gonna be a classy farm rig when I get some time.

Thanks so much Paul, now we know and it's appreciated, including the time you took to make the video on them. Blessings.

Man I thought they were Duraflap's. They look real close to the ones I just put on. Good work!

I see the rub marks inside the wheel well, are you still rubbing after leveling? I just put on some 35x12.5r20 +12 offsets and its rubbing in the same place. I really don't want to level at the moment, unless it's actually going to make a difference.

Brother thank you for all the videos...Iam reaching out for some help. I have clean 2500 and traded it on on a 2018 3500 w/ Aisin. I drove it and everything seemed fine. I bought it. On the way home I notice the tranny temp is at 177 deg and it was 40deg outside driving on the high way doing 70 on flat road. This one is not deleted. I see you run 160 deg. A couple years ago on a undeleted truck. Should I be worried about this and if so what could be the problem. I know they all have different personalities but I thought this was excessive considering the environment i was driving in. Thanks for any info you can help me with.

Was it bought brand new or used? If used you know if someone did a transmission service on it? If so can you find out what oil they used.

PD Diesel Power it is a used 2018 3500 Laramie with 67,000 miles on it. The car fax doesn’t show a specific tranny service. I am taking it back this morning to have it looked at by the dealer. I checked the levels and they overseviced the tranny. The reading was above the marks. Would that cause it to run hotter than what i see people around the nation run at which is 160’s? Thanks for the reply. I will let you know what I find out.

Make sure they are using the right oil. Aisin trans has different spec oil. Ask them if they use different oil from the 68rfe. Also ask if they changed the trans oil filter. Or just a drain and fill service.

I took the truck back for them to look at it and it was service with the correct fluids but they flushed it and reserviced it. I picked it up and drove it home and it still went up to 179 temp on the transmission. I was not hauling anything just normal driving at around 75ish. It was 60 deg out so a little warmer than the first trip. Do you think this is normal for this type of situation? Thanks for your input

I have the same wheel offset. Will DOT get me if I dont run mud flaps? I just dont like the look on SRW trucks...

State to state changes. I say keep rolling until they tell you something. In the end it's just a ticket at worst and non moving. So who cares. Enjoy YOUR truck the way you like it.

He always goes with the aisin. If you search through his videos he has full discussions on the topic.

Yup, Paul roles with Aisin. Personally I just updated my 15 2500 68RFE that had 120,000 to a 18 3500 Aisin due to 5th wheel purchase. I had no issues with the 68RFE at all. I did not tow heavy with it either. Just light towing. 6,000-9,000lbs.

Just installed Duraflaps on my new Ram 3500 SRW. They fit perfectly and look really great. They also make long flaps if you have a lift or want extra protection when towing a trailer. I got long all the way around to protect the power running boards and my trailers. Really a quality product from Duraflap.
