Mercedes 123 interior - restoring door linings and B pillar

This was part of my s123 280te restoration. It was time to restore the material lining around the body where the doors close against. A bit lengthy I'm sorry, but it shows how the B pillars go on, the door sills, how to fit the new B pillar piping and how to redo the trim lining around the rest of the door lining. In Australia, I found a suitable material at Spotlight materials store. For this material, note the rear rubber pieces are longer than the fronts. Although I recall it being 1.8m long or so to cover them, just get 2m. The strips end up less than 10 cm width needed, so as you buy it by the meter width, you will have plenty. All up, the glue cost me more than the $15-20USD of material!

This is also a 1981 lotfy. Head to spotlight and that material should be in a few colours. I did t keep the recipt to Id it, but it looks really close
