The Arian heresy has been around a long time.
But it denies the basic revelation that God has made of himself in scripture. The words we use >>Father, Word (Son), Breath (Spirit)>>have been given as sufficient for us human beings, but the reality is divine mystery, far beyond what our limited minds are capable of understanding.
The simple revelation is straightforward. The Creator spun the universes into existence out of nothing by Word and Breath. He sustains the created realms moment by moment through the same. He communicates with his creatures through the same. And at the appropriate time, the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Today, the divine Breath dwells with power inside those who will receive him and initiates a new creation.

      @justinhemion6279 Před měsícem

@@MrNickdino there are NO analogies that will equate to God the Father, the Son(Logos) & Holy Spirit.
So many people try to describe an analogy of an infinite, omnipresent, omnipotent being using finite example limited time, space, and matter... all of which God is not limited by.
Think of it like this... as a human "being" you are body, soul, spirit. That is a trinity or tri-unity. Those 3 make you 1 human being.
You are a living 'soul' you animate your 'body' and God Breathed into your lungs the 'breath of life'/ruach/ Spirit. Body, soul, spirit, 3 in 1.
Now it can be made analogous as the Father, Son Holy Spirit.
God the Father would be as the 'Soul',
Jesus, the Son ..the 'body' & the Holy Spirit, the 'Spirit'.. just as your 3..body, soul, spirit making you a human 'being'....
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit make the "being" of God. This is also called the "Godhead".
Here's one you can look up in the bible...
God the Father/Yahuah- God ABOVE US
The Son/IMMANUEL - God WITH us
Holy Spirit. - God IN us

_"Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."_ - *Acts 2:38*
Well, Jesus got baptized, right? What sins of His was he being baptized for to showcase that He had been forgiven? I would argue Jesus was sinless and I assume you would as well, right?
Perhaps part of Jesus completing the prophecy correctly and leading by example fully, was to be a human man perfectly. This would include Him worshipping God, since man should worship God. So, in his humanhood, His God is God... but is man allowed to worship Himself? Well, this headache is avoided by directing worship towards the Father.

Here's a detailed argument for Jesus being the Son of God, not God Himself:
    The Father-Son Relationship
The Bible consistently portrays Jesus as the Son of God, not God Himself. This relationship is a fundamental aspect of Christian theology, and it's essential to understand the nuances of this relationship.
In John 14:28, Jesus says, "The Father is greater than I." This statement is often overlooked or dismissed by those who argue for Jesus' divinity. However, it's a crucial verse that highlights the distinct relationship between Jesus and the Father.
If Jesus is God, as some argue, then it's illogical for Him to say that the Father is greater than Him. God, by definition, is the supreme being, and there is no one greater than Him. Therefore, Jesus' statement implies that He is not God, but rather the Son of God.
    The Sonship of Jesus
Throughout the Bible, Jesus is referred to as the Son of God (Matthew 3:17, 17:5; Mark 1:11; Luke 3:22, 9:35; John 1:34, 1:49). This title emphasizes Jesus' unique relationship with the Father, distinguishing Him from other prophets and messengers.
In Hebrews 1:1-3, the author writes, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power..."
Here, Jesus is referred to as the Son of God, who has been appointed heir of all things. This verse highlights the Father-Son relationship and distinguishes Jesus from the Father.
The Distinction between God and Jesus
In 1 Corinthians 8:6, Paul writes, "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him."
This verse is crucial in understanding the distinction between God (the Father) and Jesus Christ (the Son). Paul writes that there is only one God, the Father, and one Lord Jesus Christ. This distinction is not just a matter of semantics; it's a fundamental aspect of Christian theology.
    The Human Nature of Jesus
The Bible also emphasizes Jesus' human nature. In Hebrews 2:17-18, the author writes, "Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted."
Here, Jesus is described as being "made like unto his brethren," highlighting His human nature. This verse is significant, as it shows that Jesus, as the Son of God, was willing to take on human form and suffer temptation, making Him relatable to humanity.
    Jesus' Subordination to the Father
In John 5:19, Jesus says, "The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise."
This verse highlights Jesus' subordination to the Father. Jesus cannot act independently of the Father; He can only do what He sees the Father doing. This statement reinforces the idea that Jesus is not God, but rather the Son of God, who is dependent on the Father.
The Role of the Holy Spirit
In John 16:13-14, Jesus says, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you."
Here, Jesus speaks about the role of the Holy Spirit, who will guide the disciples into all truth. The Holy Spirit is not God, but rather a distinct entity that will glorify Jesus. This verse reinforces the idea that there is a clear distinction between God (the Father), Jesus (the Son), and the Holy Spirit.
    Conclusion
In conclusion, the Bible consistently portrays Jesus as the Son of God, not God Himself. The Father-Son relationship is a fundamental aspect of Christian theology, and it's essential to understand the nuances of this relationship.
The distinction between God (the Father) and Jesus Christ (the Son) is clear, and the Bible emphasizes Jesus' human nature. Jesus' subordination to the Father and the role of the Holy Spirit also reinforce the idea that Jesus is not God, but rather the Son of God.
Therefore, I argue that Jesus is the Son of God, not God Himself.
    Additional References
John 8:17-18: Jesus says, "I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me." This verse highlights the distinct relationship between Jesus and the Father.
Matthew 11:27: Jesus says, "All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him." This verse emphasizes the unique relationship between Jesus and the Father.
Hebrews 5:8: The author writes, "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered." This verse highlights Jesus' human nature and His obedience to the Father.

The “heat of the fire is the fire itself?” - Really? This is an illogical and incoherent claim. Heat is produced by fire, and metaphysical causation or priority suggests that the Father actually causes the Son, irrespective of whether this is atemporal or not. This means that the Son lacks aseity though possessing eternality. Then, using “God” in equivocal ways in reference to the Trinity is philosophically plausible but biblically irreconcilable. If the essence is called “God”, and all three distinct divine persons possess the essence of ”fully”, this results in blatant tritheism, doesn’t it?

1:10 the praying to himself argument is intellectually false and dishonest, in Jeremiah 18, when a nation does Good God Repents of the Evil he would have purposed as a result of their sin, and when they’re stiffnecked he repents of the blessings he would have sent for their righteousness, so If God in his highest state will repent TO HIMSELF, than he in his Flesh form his MOST HUMBLE FORM will of course pray to himself as well. Literally had to log in to x scroll to this post and just put this out there because this argument makes no sense as soon as i saw it thanks to the Jeremiah verse, STAY IN YOUR BIBLE, it will give you a mouth to speak that nobody can gainsay or refute✝️=❤️

Let’s see if any Trinitarian on here can answer the question that Sam Shamoun ran from when I asked him: Can you be something before you “become” that something? For example, was Adam “a living soul before he became “a living soul? If not then ask yourself; When did Jesus become “a life-giving spirit”?-1 Cor. 15:45 And if God is eternally spirit how is it that Christ had to “become” a spirit? Good luck! 😂

Your analogy is so stupid, the heat and the light are not the fire.
Heat is heat and light is light.
There can be heat without light and light without heat (far away).
They have completely different qualities.... While Trinity means that the light is the heat, because the father is the son and the son is also the spirit.
If the son is not the father, then you have 3 different beings in the Trinity. Like you said, the light must be the fire.
Also, the fire is a general term that holds inside it heat and light, but heat and light do not hold inside them fire. Clearly they are not the same.
There is no perfect logical explanations for Trinity, that is why it is the mystery understood by faith alone. To assume you can understand it without faith by explanation is to go against the church fathers...

    • @MrNickdino
      @MrNickdino Před měsícem

You make a mistake, light always involves heat, doesn't matter if you can't feel it because it isn't strong enough.
But your conclusion seems plausible to me.

    • @gabrielkovalov8966
      @gabrielkovalov8966 Před měsícem

@@MrNickdino well if you consider any energy to be heat then you would be correct.
But in human experience, there is light without heat (certain bugs at night). There is also energy without light, electrons moving inside wood.
Ofc it is a matter of scale and perspective, since our scale is things like fire and our perspective is human, it is correct to say that some light does not have heat.
A better analogy for trinity is - trinity = reality.
      Reality is
      1. What we do not know - death
      2. What we know - life
      3. What can be changed - force of life (free will)
These three things are basic components of our reality, and this God who is reality itself as his name Jehovah suggests.
The father takes the role of the unknown - the distant, the less approachable.
The son is God in reality itself, in the approachable, it is through approachable reality we connect to the unapproachable reality (higher realms, spiritual realm etc)
The holy Spirit is the choice between living with meaning and obedience to God or without. And according to that a force is applied that shapes your life.
Denying anyone of these 3 aspects about God is heresy.
God will always have an unknown side.
God will always be approachable through everything that we can know in reality itself
God not only is approachable in reality, but actively can change it - that is the holy Spirit.
The only problem with this idea of Trinity is that you are expected to see jesus as a representation of God on earth, not literal God. While scripture has no problem with that, mainstream interpretations will label you heretical.
But let us ask something, how can we say that God is approachable through reality?
-because it is created by him, through him and maintained by him, thus a tree is an example of his pure will in reality, and when you examine closely the will of God manifest, you will get to know God.
Same thing when you meet a righteous man that has given everything to live for God. This man has truly surrendered and his will is only to serve God truly, thus, he is an example of the will of God, and through him one can see God.

Jesus is not God. He’s the Son of God. Specifically the firstborn Son of the New Covenant. Jesus is the Lord (made Lord) and the anointed God, both terms meaning human leader. The Orthodoxy is illiterate to the fact that men were called Lords and Gods in antiquity. Jesus explains this in John 10:31-39 where He points out the Israelite council was called Gods in Psalms 82.

Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
