Already a well designed game with serious choice and puzzles I dig it and deff has RE vibes. As previous comment said the choice in camera angle alone shows you have more care for those playing your game then the typical studios do well done ❤

All these comments about plot repetition - clearly you guys aren't actual gamers and you're just here for entertainment. Nearly ALL horror games are ripped from previous iterations of similar ideas. That doesnt make the games bad - especially when this was made by 2 people rather than an entire studio.

It’s two brothers working on this together. Also the animations here are the updated ones. The prior ones were very stiff and the brothers took the feedback and added more liveliness to it. It looks SO much better. Such great work from an indie studio. There’s other vids comments on other channels where people are just being flat out rude regarding the animations and other stuff but it’s a work in progress and looks really great so far.
The plot with retired Police officer or detective, who is the only one who can save the day, ... never seen that before.. 😂
Although the retired cop/detective thing is a bit cliché, it kinda makes sense that the hero would be a brave, streetwise dude that's seen some heavy shit.

At first glance I got The Evil Within vibes especially with the mind-space tech. The environment design and atmosphere is really good. The idea of having 2 camera styles is really cool, some devs can take notes. Great job, it looks promising. Oh I wanted to upload my comment but I saw the within in the game's title 😁

The nightmare within plays and looks a lot like the evil within, down to the story about being in a killers brain. And seeing as we're not getting the evil within 3, this was great.
Looked like there was armor in the locker where you got the shotgun I can't wait for the full Gane to come out ans watch you play the game.

The characters give me absolute uncanny valley vibez hahaha :D like this "300% facial animation" videos. :D I laught more than to find it scary. I love it. I see potential.
Your reactions are fun to watch
Definitely looks and plays better than a ton of other RE-esque clones out there, but definitely needs work in the combat department, especially, like you said, with the hit feedback and how the enemies attack. And maybe have the dodge animation be something a bit more akin to Alan Wake's dodge? Dodge rolling like this in horror games always feels out of place, at least, to me... especially when it's not exactly going for the RE4 style of cheese. The tone here seems closer to The Evil Within 1 and 2. Hopefully, the enemies could get some redesigns, as well, especially the robot thing. It kinda clashes with the art direction for the rest of the presentation. But maybe that's just me. Overall, gotta say... this is a damn great foundation to, hopefully, build something great from!
They said the hit animations will be added in a few weeks w/ the new demo update.
