Thaaanks for covering my mod. Made some changes in regard to the amount of rings and a mission system is coming up. Seeing this vid reminds me to put extra ring modifiers on the chao for different things like the abilities and unlocked toys

I feel so bad because the mod creator wrote the description like "This is a much nicer and wholesome way to get rid of chao instead of abandoning them in a forest" and my literal first thought was "WE CAN SELL THE CHAO NOW???" lmao. The creator had such wholesome intentions, and I ended up making it worse then just leaving them in the forest

I think it makes sense that time spent is more valuable, because if you asked me to sell a dog I met yesterday, and you asked me to sell a dog I've lived with for 10 years, then the dog I've lived with for 10 years is going to be basically priceless comparatively. The more sacrifice == more profit makes it so the mod isn't soon much of an easy money machine imo.
I like time being a factor, I do think stats should influence it as well. Im not complaining though, the mod is still really nice. Ive been using it whenever I play chao garden now honestly

Also YES! I love the sports dad vibe of chao garden. Its what I feel alot of these pet simulators get wrong, they make the mini games too involved. I love having little influence over the chao races, and I feel like a dad watching their kids stumble through the races and all I can do is cheer them on and secretly hope the other kids eat shit lmao

This was a pretty awesome chao race to watch. 2 newborn chaos almost on par with eachother, pretty fun! I kept wondering if nova would catch up.

Seems weird that it doesn't tell you how much you're going to get until it's too late to cancel. It even asks you to confirm twice but doesn't tell you the "reward" until after.
I thought so too. I believe the intention was the mod developer didnt want this to be like "selling your chao" like I joked about in this video, but rather make it feel like a reward for raising a chao that you were giving away regardless if you were being rewarded or not.
You can work around it by resetting and not saving, but its also not hard to work out approximately how much you'll get just by looking at the chaos age. I personally would like a conformation still, but I didnt make the mod so I respect their creative decisions.

What would happen if you sell a rare Chao you can't get in the Black Market (Jewel Chao, Two Tone Chao, Invisible Chao & Translucent Chao?)
They work like normal. The actual rarity of the chao is irrelevant, its only looking at its stats and how long its been alive

What mod did you use to get the SA1 little animals into SA2 (around 16:20)? I was just looking for a mod like that the other day, but couldn't find one!
That's part of the Chao World Extended mod. Different fruits spawn in the black market that attract different animals if you leave them out.

Thats in the mod manager in the codes tab. Its at the top of the list "Infinite lives P1"

Faster to just sell em fresh out the egg lol. Ive since been using this mod regularly now though, might not be a bad idea to try breeding them.
The mod creator is also planning on updating the mod with a request system, meaning the game would request a certain type of chao, and then you raise it and sell it for a bonus. Its such a fun concept honestly
@EpicDuskk well breeding only costs 40 rings rather than 200 so you'd make more of a profit
@@oliviaoborne576 yeah it would be more profit, but again its not as fast. Breeding takes time, and the heart fruit isnt always available in the shop. Im not saying its a bad idea, it'll definitely be worth doing when the opportunity is there. But I think selling eggs is more efficient
