Explain the function of knob at the top and how it is used for different cloth settings

Knob is used to control the temperature of electric iron thermostat.
if you rotate knob clockwise then iron temperature drops, similarly if you rotate knob anticlockwise then iron temperature increases.
Adjust Low temp setting for thin/light cloth and Medium/High temp setting for thick/heavy cloth.
Temperature settings also depends on Type/Model of electric iron you used.
