- Hello There! Welcome back to the channel for what will most likely be my last scripted video for Primal Carnage Extinction. Thanks for watching these over the last couple of months, been a blast making them for ya guys :) In this one I go over if the game is worth buying and playing in this crazy year of 2022. Hope you enjoy!

U should take a break man, and don't worry about a week a vid its fine and it's not going to kill any of us if you decide to take a break or spend a bit more time on making a vid. In my personal opinion u are one of the best youtubers I have ever watched.

I’m getting a PC soon, will finally be able to play the real game. Used to play it on ps4 only.
As a kid back then i wanted to play this game so bad because of the dinosaurs and stuff, looking videos about the game all day and dreaming to play it.
And that dream came true recently this year when i saw it for sale on steam, im 21 now and still excited af to play this game everytime i came back from work

I agree 100% on the level balancing issue. I’ve seen the issue come up time and time again wether it be in-game or on the discord server. Some games are just so unfair I either leave or just continue playing despite the pain it might bring. Despite the major and many flaws in this game, there’s dinosaurs and chaos so it grabbed my attention quickly. Cheers.
Wishing we got more night maps. Or at least night versions of existing maps
Yeah I feel that, Airbase is one of my fave maps in the game

I think it’s totally worth it! I’ve played it for a few years now and it still doesn’t get too boring for me, unlike smash ultimate. I’ve always haved fun getting funny clips of the game. And with the upcoming release of the update for ps5, I’m even more excited
Yeah man I've been playing the ps4 version with a comfy 3k hours and decided to save money for the pc version and I'm happy where I am in between primal pc, path of times and the isle

When I bought the isle, I was so excited! Legacy was fun to play but I was there for evrima. When I went and change it to evrima, I was not disappointed since I was new but after so many months, I am severally disappointed in how their progress was for developing. I am waiting for the next update to see if the isle is worth it. The isle isn't worth buying rn but I am thinking if I should buy primal carnage. So idk if it's gonna be like the isle or nah

I bought it in 2022, I've been a fan of it since the early days but never bought it after buying it I regreted my decision because my laptop couldn't run it smoothly but I couldn't refund it because I logged in the game without playing for like 3 hours so steam wouldn't let me refund it, at least now I do enjoy it time to time since I have no other games to play 🤣

Is there a big difference between primal carnage and primal carnage: extinction? im willing which one should i buy.
Big difference, Extinction has about 5 years worth of updates on the original, including new dinosaurs. I don't know if the servers are even up for the OG anymore. Get Extinction if you want one of em

I have question if im on ps4 i need ps plus to play with people or what? I mean if i dont have ps plus i will play with bots?
You will need PS Plus yeah I believe so, if you don't have it you won't be able to play any multiplayer, and the solo modes don't have much substance at all

This game unironically looks like one of those Chinese counter strike filled with all ridiculous customisables.
I remember the early days when it looked cool af well...whatever. I am not trying to hate or spread the idea that you shouldn't enjoy it but to me this looks way to much.
Aha no worries, to each their own, it definitely has become a pretty skin simulator in some ways, not gonna lie, not to the levels of counter strike but still. I see what ya mean, in some ways I prefer how the OG looked, it had lower rez textures, but it was darker and grittier in my opinion
This is sad, my bf brought me Primal Carnage on steam. I was extremly happy about playing my dream game but sadly... there were no active servers....
Yeah that happens alot :( Only USA and UK tend to have active servers, and even then it's never a guarantee and not common either

The only problem i seem to have whit the game is that the in game store just DONSENT WORK, if i try to buy something, it just loads, and loads, and loads forever, and you are also stuck there, so i have to Alt + F4 outta the game every time i click on an item ill like to see.
Ive verified the files, and im sure to be connected to wifi, but is there anything i can do to fix it?
Please, its literaly THE ONLY problem i have whit the game, leaving that store bug aside, its one of the best dinosaur games you can ever get!
Hmmm, you can try resetting your wifi, but does it give you an error message when you load into the main menu saying that you aren't fully connected to the game's servers? If not, then try clicking on a different item. If that doesn't work, verify files again, and then if push comes to shove, try reinstalling the game. If reinstalling doesn't help, ask in the Discord in the bug reporting section. There should be a link to the Discord on both the Primal carnage website and in the main menu of the game itself, as well as on the games Steam page somewhere

I would buy primal extinction, heck I even saved up for it. But knowing how the isle went for me. I am kinda scared for it

@@thelastmikester I don't mean glitches as in the isle, I mean not being able to install it. The only thing I am worried about is if my laptop is good enough for it. My laptop isn't that for gaming lol.

during the prime of the game this was my main multiplayer. However went on today and it's in my opinion pretty dead. Just 2 servers had people in it and one of them as an RP server. I only have negative things to say with the RP servers. Basically people buy the game to type in chat about being a dino to others. They don't play the game they just sit in 1 spot and do absolutely nothing. . .
It's true, the game is pretty dead these days and most likely will be until they release the PS4 update and/or fix the goddamn game on PC, I am on almost every day and run into multiple issues every time, from crashes, to poor hit detection, audio issues, etc. And yes, I have been on one free roam roleplay style server and the community on those servers tends to be very toxic, way more so than regular TDM servers. @@thelastmikester I'd love to see this game grow again and get certain issues fixed that lead to many people no longer playing. If they can some how improve that and promote the game o. Steam with a free weekend or something I'm sure it help it out a bit more. But it feels like a cash grab now. The shop back in the day had a handful of items now that I came back it's so overwhelming. I csn see where the time has been really spent.
But it's a great game concept and they hit the mark on a lot of stuff others developers miss. Just sucks not much has changed in the 7ish years and even longer for the first one.

Not worth it at the moment since the update isn't out yet, not sure when, the devs have said soon, early 2023, but no exact date
2000+ hours here, this game has updated quite a bit and has become more and more unbalanced. There are so many problems with almost every class that gets nerfed 3 months later. The community is super toxic and full of cheaters, skin farmers and pedophiles(methi). As for the crafting system don’t bother, they broke an event in the past basically letting people dupe skins, this totally fucked the entire economy and definitely fucked my account value. If you’re getting into this game you shouldn’t absolutely not spend money on skins and stay away from free roam, it’s full of toxic friend groups which requires you being in them or getting no admin support what do ever.
Don’t open the website link for everyone admin, as an ex staff I can tell you it will steal your ip and it will be used for ddosing if the staff feel you are misbehaving.
If you don’t agree with me you can come buy my skins, they’re 1$ each regardless of what it is (muts are 2$)
Wow that sounds pretty damn bad, it's a real shame that shit like that happens. While I haven't experienced most of what you have said, at 2000+ hours I'll take your word for it lol
