Welp, because of the slow and painful grind and those awful repair costs, you can't really have fun in this game. Even if you want to mess around in a match, if an enemy kills you, you get punished with that repair cost (unless you want to wait 7 eternities for the tank to be auto-repaired) If they removed/ massively reduced repair costs and allowed convertible RP to be used for free for vehicles and modifications, that would solve both problems. And also allow players to have fun in the game.
@@alexmaximus9134 it wouldn't be free to play then. I increased the repair crew skill as much as possible to try and mitigate the repair costs. I stll pay a shit ton of sl in repairs but it's not as bad as before.
One of my favorite things to do with the M22 is to follow one of the bigger tanks like a lost little duckling. If they get into trouble, I circle around, distract the enemy and then hide or run as fast as I possibly can, giving the bigger tank a little more time to repair or reload. 8/10 times, Mama Tank comes rushing to rescue me. It usually jumps to 10/10 when we have other big allies around and they see a little tank running or hiding from a bigger tank. Yes. I literally abuse people's protective/parental instincts to stay alive for as long as possible. Im an A-hole, but my strategy works.

I remember playing vk 3002, and I was chilling with a locust. He pointed out the enemies, and I sniped them. That was really fun, but for some reason he got killed first, considering I was the greater threat, but that was heartbreaking. locust guy, if you remember the tan vk 3002M from sunset city, it was an honor to fight by your side. o7
It's gun is actually a beast for its size. You can medic REALLY well, it's so good for captures because you can basically hide in plain site next to burning hulks. Plus you can make so many silver kitties if you can get in the backline and start dropping aa players or light armor. 2 kills is all it takes
I've actually experienced this in WoT on pc years ago, brought a tier 1 light tank to a tier 10 match with the opening line to the entire match of "FEAR ME!!!" the whole match cracked up, i got escorted all the way to the enemy artys and got to kill them and survived the match lol. was one of my most fav memory from back then
I do the exact same thing as this but with the L3 which almost guarantees you get messed with. For maximum luls I recommend starting a match in an l3-33 and keep your tow hook active at all times.
Totally agree with you, I do same sometimes, I have a long time in 7.3 killing Leopard I that where camping with the Locust... So totally agree, no matter what BR, always funny...
I remember when I was playing the Locust and one of my friends went “DONT YOU TALK TO ME, OR MY SON, AGAIN” and shot a leopard that was trying to oof me 😂
i personally love to bring the swedish meat ball launcher to 10.3 because its actually a killing machine due to overpressure being so broken in the game

It can also act as a medic, if a tanks needs to repair, you are small and sneaky, so you can help them repair
