Thx for the honest breakdown. The odd decent item here and there amongst a plethora of mid to dreadful options. Sorry you had to take the hit for the rest of us. Appreciate you guys!

That $9 croissant was totally a scam, but so is $7 for an empanada! Also what kind of a place calls itself a fish and chips restaurant and serves you the tiniest piece of fish for $17.. If you want good fish and chips you've got to go to Olde Yorke, they're the best! Even Zets does it good and are known for their massive servings, where the piece of fish wouldn't even fit in the box that you were given at Gil's..

@@TorontoOurCityDarcie It's been a while since ate there. Hali or cod & chips, New England Style Chowder and the fisherman's platter are great. For dessert, deep fried mars bars, apple crisp and the key lime pie seem to be popular. But when I go there next, I'm gonna try the sherry trifle.

Thanks for the reviews guys!! Although I work at the financial district. I don't think I will go out of my way to go there, everything seems somewhat exp for the quality and amount you get.

Sounds like the OG Sbarro & Teriyaki Experience in the Queen St. Eaton Centre food court faired better than Queen's Crossing. I remember making my payday meal with my brother in the 90s for $5 teriyaki specials still hard to beat for top notch dinners there.

Le Gourmand has KILLER pressed croissant sandwiches...and everything else. BTW your poutin had rosemary on top, It's too bad you found so many duds in a food hall that is supposed to be chef led.

Did this replace the old food court? I only go to Eatons once every few years

It has not! This new food hall has replaced the former Richtree Market that existed near the Queen Street side of the mall. The main food court still exists on the very bottom level of the mall. Hope you get some good eats on your next visit to the Eaton Centre!

The empanada and samosa looked ok but I think this is a hard pass

I work in the CF building attached to the Eaton Center. This place was so hyped up and had the looks and vibes but was super disappointing. The vendors I tried were overpriced, bland and disappointing. And they say it’s Chef inspired and is supposed to be positioned as a more gourmet food hall but nothing about it is gourmet. Better off just going to the main lower level food court and getting the classic grub for less.

Thanks for the response! It was super hyped but missed the mark for sure! Let us know if you have any favourites in the area we should check out.

i went there and had sushi in 2020. it was so nothing. this kind of development in toronto is common, and so, so sad. upscale junk served in fancy dungeons
