Later on Angela says “Nathan likes to lie and manipulate” was so direct and an amazing quote.
I feel like Angela got to know Nathan a lot better than the people we usually see him interact with on Nathan for You - she saw him like no one else did.
Currently making a video on the most recent episode! (Barely made any progress on it because of the heat.)
@@FarTooMuchToSay oh yea for sure. Their relationship is so interesting because you know there’s a lot of editing too you also were correct on literally everything
There’s another moment like this that I love in NFY. When Nathan tricks the man who cut the line in the Pinks Hot Dog episode, the man points out nathan is a manipulative liar and he doesn’t like it. Oh and I almost forgot…when maci during Finding Frances says “you lied to every last one of them” and Nathan responds “it’s just business, right?”
Robin, kor, and the other two females have all come out and said they're real. They all must sign NDAs so they can't get too into specifics or else they'll be sued. Robin was actually very upset about the way he was portrayed, you can find his brother's Twitter with him laughing about the episode. Robin said they intentionally tried to make him look bad by splicing things together and leaving out things he said. Regardless, he's off. There's no way trying to bang a celibate Christian right away or driving on a revoked license while high can be defended, no matter the context. Considering his intention was to prove he was responsible enough to help co-parent, I just couldn't believe that ep lol
You found it hard to believe that a dude would misrepresent himself to get laid? Interesting.
Well this is an eye opener! Thanks for putting in the time to make this video.
I’m really looking forward to this show. I enjoyed your extra analysis, there are many deeper themes at play during these episodes, so you got a new subscriber!
Thank you! About to watch the new episode with my friend, so a video about that should be up soon! Hope you have a great day!
Bloody hell, I think you've hit the nail on the head with the grander themes of the show. Beautiful stuff
Nathan I s. Y far the greatest performer of the last 20yrs
I think Kor's head is painted.
Haha. Nah. Robbin is very real. And yes it’s spelled with two B’s
Nathan must have been driving in the car for hours with Robin. I was a bit suspicious about that journey because by the time they got to his it was night. I suppose if you've spent hundreds of hours if not thousands of hours crafting a show a 3 hour drive wouldn't be a big deal. But that guy couldn't drive well and constantly mentioned his accident. It would only take 1 second to have an accident with someone irresponsible like him. It just felt really fishy with some of the details like that.
Lol, the planning of things as mundane as meeting for coffee is typical of introvert people, I should know🙃🙂
As an introvert nerd, when I got pregnant I would read all the books I could get my hands on so that I could ace this parenting thing. I knew it was like any other subject. If I studied hard, I would pass. Anything that happened, I would consult a book. I was well prepared for most first year scenarios. When something (lets call it life) happened that I didn't know how to handle, my family would make fun of me and say "What'd the book say?" 🤦🏾♀️
You nailed it
Interesting take. I like it
I feel like you are Nathening everyone haha.
This made me laugh so i continued to watch it all.
Agree with some but you don't t realize hes playing a character? Character similar to his real self, but a character nevertheless
The thing I can't understand is why would he choose Angela of all people as a practice partner
Oh my god I just realized that Kor was the actor at the end of the 1st ep
Wait, what? It switched from Kor to the actor back to Kor, right?
Huh?
Finally is coming up and it looks like you nailed it on the head.
Man, your analysis was incredible! Great video
Thanks my friend! I’ve done one on episode 3 and am currently making one for episode 4! Really appreciate your kind words.
Ahh ahh swimming tiring, are your legs tired! 😇 I think their OK😟 😂😂
its like synecdoche, new york
it reminds me of Stray on ps5
did you watch the rest, and if so, anything more to add?
All of the actors on this show are amazing
ah yes but what does the number 15:59 mean?
well he did say he's I to numbers not letters lol
Here at the end of episode four to tell you (other than robin being fake, I believe) You are completely correct, already
The name of episode 6 which is the last episode according to IMDB is titled ‘fake daddy’ I think you’re definitely onto something
No. It's called the Re-Evaluation.
@@deadartist8827 no it’s not
I love these grandiose, overblown analyses that ascribe deep, revealing symbolic meaning and intentionality into every aspect of the show and its creator. If I were a betting man, I’d wager that Nathan is merely trolling for cringe-inducing laughs, and not a whole hell of a lot more.
Robin is real and he's a religious weirdo pothead
Vice actually has an article on the guy.
@@jshanks1001 Thanks, just checked it out. Glad he's not smoking anymore. Also, he made a total fool out of himself. That's the genius of the show
@@DirtyDawg He’s still doing it. Unfortunately, his weird social media antics make it to Reddit
Episode 4 has my head spinning. He says the line "you can change your perception" as he changes the teenaged kid back to a six year old for a do over. Also, all that was totally planned. He was gone for about 6 weeks, not 9 years. I guess the rest of the show will take place with the family so he doesn't miss him change age. It's so surreal. They exchange the child every four hours due to child acting laws. It's not like they could build a relationship with them to experience actually parenthood. I don't think he's ultimately trying out to be a parent irl. I think his ultimate goal is to understand, and therefore emulate, humans. The thing with him and the acting student straight up said that's what he wanted.
The child ages over time that was the whole point of Angela’s rehearsal
@@thebigragu9952 I understand that. I'm saying the practical thing for...this situation lol would be for Nathan and the teenager to just act like he was gone the amount of time he was actually gone. He made the decision to do this to go for a greater narrative.
Cool take, but no. You are however noticing the sheer genius of Nathan Fielder.
People always miss the biggest character of all hidden in plain sight- that’s God Almighty. You honestly think Nathan controlled everything to the detail? No! Only God himself could orchestrate certain things- and there was a reason for all of it! Nathan just happened to get it on camera. God is doing amazing things among us- be amazed at Him! Not Nathan- this is God’s show! Nathan is just a playing his role!
Is this satire
@@harrisonmcdonald4566 It's a joke from based off of what Angela said before her "date" with Robin.
Are you Angela?
😂
71, 88, hallelujah!
