Join actor Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal) and filmmaker Thomas Vinterberg as they discuss The Hunt. Set in a small Danish village at Christmastime, the film follows Lucas (Mikkelsen), a highly regarded school teacher who becomes the target of mass hysteria after being wrongly accused of a horrible assault on a child. The power of suggestion can be very influential on little kids. They say what they think grownups want them to say, so if a psychologist asks out of the blue, did he do this or that specific thing to you?, the little child will maybe say "yes" just to make the grown up happy. I guess if you should enterogate children about these kinds of subjects you should do it in a way where the mood isn't tense to begin with and it's like you talk about normal day to day stuff, find out the truth without asking specifically for it.
oh god I wanna watch the movie so bad, but just watching bits of it breaks my heart into a million pieces D': mads is such a great actor!
This movie impacted my life in a huge way, as I am a teacher. I LOVE Mads and I had a hard time watching this movie, because of how freakin powerful the message was. I hope you don't get shot for giving us such a wonderful video :)
