We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Dollywood is the BEST food park we’ve ever been to and it’s not close. We make our way around the entire park trying some of our go-to favorite Dollywood 2023 foods and try some of the items that are considered the Dollywood best food like the BBQ pork rinds and the Dollywood mountain fry bread. Definitely Hersheypark! It’s my home park. And it has EVERYTHING y’all love. Amazing coasters(the best roller coaster line up in the entire country- IMO- yes I know that is a very extreme statement, but I stand by it), some of the best food you will ever eat, and the energy of the park is always amazing!
Would love to see a Dollywood trip during the Smoky Mountain Christmas event!

So, I work at Dollywood. We are currently hosting ACE's 45th Annual Coaster Con. The Host Lounge, where we eat lunch, had leftover Cinnamon Bread from the banquet that morning. The Cinnamon Bread is even good cold. They had the leftover liaves in the cooler. My fellow host and I halfed one loaf during our lunch. We were impressed how goid it was even though it was cool. Yummmm.
Ugh that sounds like heaven!! Lol we’ve never had any leftover to try it cold, but we’ve heard locals take it home and make French toast with it! 🤤😍
Barbeque for breakfast is ALWAYS the correct decision.

I'm back on my liquid diet so this was like pure torture but I loved it lol. By the time the video was over I was in tears from laughing...."Can I have the fry next to the fry that you called dibs on?" LOL I had to pause. When it comes to banana pudding, I can side with you both. I hate bananas lol but love artificial banana flavor; so I want a banana pudding with just pudding and cookies SMH 🤣!

In Canada, we have Elephant Ears and Beavertails, which are very similar to fry bread. We have funnel cakes, too 😋

We decided to add Dollywood to our summer trip to universal because of this video, and if we said once, we said ten times that we can’t believe that y’all moved from Tennessee! Omg, the views, the weather and the prices of everything were awesome! We did not want to leave! However, we are continuing on to universal! We will have hit 15 southern states on this round trip through the South. I bought a gold pass to Dollywood! We will be back!

If yall can believe it, we have never had the cinnamon bread when we are at Dollywood. Insane I know! No answers and no excuse! LOL! But I do agree whole heartedly Dollywood has THE BEDT theme park food of all theme parks anywhere. We did eat at Granny Ogles for lunch.

My daughter and I did our first day today starting at Islands and then riding the Potter train over to Universal. We ended our day at our pool and back in our room now. Tomorrow we start out at Volcano Bay and then back to the parks to end the day. I'd love to run up on yall while here to meet in person. I'm trying to get content for my channel but it gets hard to video when you are having fun. LOL. But I'll try anyway.

That park is so fun!! I live in NC so I’ve been there a few times a few years ago. I mainly remember the firefighter ride and the smell of the cinnamon bread 😂 love the vid keep it up!

The food is so good!! Our first Dollywood video we did last summer was about all the rides. We just rode our favorites and the new coaster on the first video from this trip!

Maybe yall explained it in one of your last DW videos, but what is the reusable cup situation? I got one a few years ago when I had a gold pass but haven't been in a bit and forgot how they work. Going for a week in July and definitely hunting down one of those loaded potatoes 😊
So you can buy one that’s on a daily basis like Universal where you get a little arm band that you put around the handle to show it’s activated for the day, or you can buy a seasonal cup that’s good for the rest of the season (until they close for winter)!

We would love to visit Dollywood again. Totally agree about the food. Also, there is a restaurant in Pigeon Forge called the Frizzle Chicken Farmhouse Cafe. It has singing animatronic chickens. They do the Star Wars theme! So much fun and decent breakfast food too!

About a month ago my kids and I got the caramel apple pie triple stacked funnel cake at Dollywood. It was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten but I felt like death afterwards.

Idk if you guys have ever tried this or not, but I would love to see POV on the rides! I've seen some people have like a glove that attaches a gopro to it so it doesn't fly off. Just a suggestion ofc
A lot of the parks actually won’t let us record on rides! The only ones that really do are Disney and Sea World! We have a go-pro now, though, for places that do let us!

They talk about what bird makes the sound Hollywood uses for eagles in the bird show right next to the first place you were eating. Without Googling I think it was the Red Tailed Hawk but I drink a lot so it might be something else.
Oh wow, that’s awesome!! We both love the bird show, but it’s been a few years since we’ve watched it! The last time we did, one of the eagles decided he wasn’t having it that day and flew off into the park and refused to come back 😂 it took them like an hour to finally coax him back down lol

The reason you feel the eagles don't sound right is because most television and movies use the sounds of Red Tailed Hawks, because eagles are kinda squeaky in reality.

Awh, thank you! And yes! They sell the refillable cups that come with refills for the entire day.
wow, we blew it. I didn't know about the baked potatoes. We're a family of 4, we didn't want to break the bank, but two of us split the 'chicken gyro' from a foodtruck, and the whole thing was probably 250 calories, not that huge, it was 14.99 and just came with bag of lays chips. The other two split a Mediterranean salad, which was mostly lettuce and not very filling at all. The potatoes are less expensive and way more filling.
I know they do things right over there I just wish all the theme parks with put and their food like that

Hello, I am loving your videos, thank you. I am looking forward to visiting Universal for the 1st time in August. In my excitement, I downloaded the universal app. The app asked me to upload my tickets and I didn’t think anything off it but my partner said “does this activate your tickets?” Is scanning the tickets onto the Universal app fine to do before arriving at Universal Orlando Florida in person. Are the tickets only activate at the Theme Park Turnstiles? Thanks as a little worried now
Your tickets are dated, so scanning them into the app won’t hurt anything! It just puts your ticket on your phone so you can access it digitally! Kind of like your virtually wallet on your phone. You can upload your CC so you can use Apple Pay, but you can still use your physical card too!

Our plan is to do express, but if you only have one day we would probably suggest an RIP tour! You Definitley get the most out of the event in that one night with RIP!
