The gist of it is he's describing fiat money.
If you take out a mortgage or a loan...the bank isn't "giving" you the cash from their savings (like a debit card transaction) it's creating a liability for the value of the loan ("negative money") and balancing it out with the value of the repayments (with a little interest for profit).
Thus it's money "created" by the bank to make the accounting work for it's bookkeeping. No new notes or coins are minted.
Or, for a simplified model, the bank does something like this:
£0 = -£1,000 (the loan amount) + £250 x 4 (repayment x installments).
The bank has effectively "created" £1000 with accounting sleight of hand.

Ok, I understand the concept of using debt to generate cashflow through assets, but HOW do they get the initial finance to allow for the business/rental property/etc...? I can't go get a loan without being a "poor shmuck" working a 9-5... They never tell you the WHOLE process, just "buy this, buy that product" and people do, and they get richer.

Work the 9-5 , until you able to invest . Find something to invest in , like a side business build that up , plus your credit . Boom there’s your first asset then once your first asset start making money that’s your passive income

@@Oonneekmt Already do this. Passive income isn't much "income" . It's more interest. Here's some math for you: $800k at a 5% APY will gain you $40k annually (pre taxes). Depending on your goals, to me, this is a place to start. How long will it take you working that 9-5 to build up to just under $1M? Just plan on working that 9-5 until you retire, at that rate. AND that defeats the purpose.

@@my_sideproject3815My answer has actually been crypto. I work a 9-5 and put whatever I would normally put into savings into crypto. Definitely do your research on it because crypto is like going through a mine field if you don’t do your research. BTC and ETH are pretty much slam dunks but their gains aren’t nearly as high as other coins. They are however good enough to change your life in a couple cycles. For example. BTC is worth 60k now. That’s 4x what it was worth from its cycle low in 2022. It’s still not due to reach its high for another year before it’s time to sell, but even if you sold now, you made 4x your investment in less than 2 years. Those gains that you can make in 4-8 years should number in the hundreds of thousands. Millions if you really know what you’re doing. Then you can roll over to real estate.
