- This is how we built our 14x18 foot gravel pad and skid foundation for a 12x16 foot large shed. We used pressure treated lumber to build a retaining wall and laid down 4 inches of gravel. What was the Acceptable Range when checking for Square? Im curious as Im about 4 in off on mine and think its because of high vs low spots
We tried to stay within a quarter to half-an-inch. 4 inches sounds like a lot, but it is possible your situation might allow for more wiggle room than ours did. Thanks for watching!
You said 4x4's were used for the skids. They look larger than 4x4's, could you advise/
