Sweetheart, I've been married to someone wth ADHD for over 38 years. I don't have it.but I get it. He doesn't take meds for it because he wants to change it thru the foods he eats. Anyway, "What's it like, not to have it?" Well I think that it allows me to concentrate better and finish things I start. And I don't get frustrated with small problems. **Please, allow me to tell you what I have learned about you, regarding your frustation with yourself. Cyndee, you have the one gift that my husband does not. You are by nature, an optimist. That is something that can help you. We have learned that focusing on something that is of importance to you can help a great deal. I think your vlogs and moving to Norway is going to be wonderful for you. I'll be watching and praying for that for you. Trust yourself girl. You're perfect just as you are.

So happy to hear you guys don’t drink and drive! 5 years ago my mother was driving drunk and accidentally killed herself after storming away, wasted, after an argument with her boyfriend. She was 47. I was 27. She’s my best friend in the world and I miss her every second of every day. Just thank you for not being stupid. It is soo senseless to drive while intoxicated. Why risk it? Thank you guys!!

Put it this way, her loss left a devastating size wound in my heart that 5 years later very few things have come close to even beginning to mend it. My heart is broken with her not here with me. One day my mom was here, the next she was gone. Never got to say goodbye or tell her how much I love her. It affects me beyond repair. But my son, thank God for that little boy💕🦋🌻 He gives me the strength I need to get up every day and try. He loved his Nonna too. We get through it together. Luckily, I have support around as well. I would be lost without my little system. Like I said, the loss is just too much sometimes and my heart goes out to every single person who has lost someone in any kind of senseless way. It is hard to explain but I try🦋🌻💕

GIRL. FUCKIN SAAAAME. Some days my adhd makes me feel like I can't get any ONE thing finished. Just parts of five different things.
Exactly. Sometimes I experience it briefly when I'm on medication. Gotta say, being able to sit down and get things done without having to get up and walk around 7 times is super strange for me!

I have a 'normal' brain and still cannot seem to focus long enough to get any ONE thing accomplished. I typically end the day having only completed bits & pieces of random tasks on my to-do list.

Everyone should invest in the makeup remover cloths. They’re basically microfiber and take off makeup better than wipes and it’s reusable because all you do is wash it. Then continue with your double cleanse routine.
Agreed. We really shouldn’t be using wipes like this anymore.
@@imtae5577 Yes, that's what I do. Even soft microfiber cloths, due to the pressure of our hands, still create microtears and pulling in the skin.

I loved watching this, even just mundane things like grocery shopping! My girlfriend lives in Sweden and I hope to move there with her eventually, so this is such a great glimpse into the process of settling into this part of the world!
I have attention deficit and when I'm under stress, not getting enough sleep, or even when my hormones are changing. That's when I really see more anxiety, having scatterbrain, and it's sad to say I unknowingly tune people out. Meditation, walking, and slowing my mind helps. Getting all my thoughts out and writing them down because some of them are on point. Focusing on doing one thing at a time when you know your AD is really given bad. I hope that helps anyone out there because for so long I never wanted to tell someone that I had AD. I would here people joke about having it or hide it.

Not to pry or insuate a mortgage but how does credit work for Americans outside of America? In my mind the whole world doesn’t go off the three main credit bureaus or maybe they do? 🤔

No, American credit scores are not used in Europe. I've looked for houses in Spain and Denmark and all they look at are my tax returns.

@@BeComingNyrell In my case no, because I live abroad and file taxes in my country of residence. I still file US taxes too. It's not complicated, just more paperwork.
@@BeComingNyrell But I know there are some banks that will loan money to Americans who want to buy houses in their country. In that case, they would look at your US tax return and any outstanding debt. But no credit check.

I'm Norwegian, my husband is from England. He moved here about 7 years ago now. It's been such a confusing roller coaster of papers and rules and signatures and god knows what... Half the time I still don't know if we are doing things right! If you want to share it, it would be cool to see how you're settling in in Norway, and how your Norwegian lessons are going, and all the other things regarding moving to a new country.
Also, Norwegians love to see non-Norwegians talk about Norway on CZcams. Maybe Åsmund has already told you that. I can guarantee you will get a lot of new viewers if you want to make videos like that. Maybe any interesting differences between your life in the U.S. and your life here? How much do food prices differ between the U.S. and here? I have an American friend I often talk about those subjects with, and it's really interesting.

My husband is German and we may move to Germany. I know Germany is completely different from Norway but it is still so interesting for me to watch how an American woman married to a European adapts to life over there. Especially you who I admire so much! So proud :)
I feel your frustration, I too have ADHD. I was never diagnosed until way later in life. I am 57, so nobody really knew what this was early on, so I just thought I was a bit nuts.
