This video really helped me, I'm currently working on a film regarding isolation during this quarantine period we are going through and this helped me understand some key concepts of conveying the emotion in my film. Thanks a lot.

this is truly amazing because you're learning something fundamental and specific that you are then applying into work,
which shows ME how certain specific ideas and concepts regarding film can be specifically applied.
I hope that makes SOME sort of sense, but anyways it was an amazing watch personally.

Not a film maker but working on a project to capture feelings on a topic through zoom sessions? Changing lighting colour was something I wanted to do. Zoom videos for a video any tips?

I'm working on a video about a painting, and the whole vibe is mysticism in the mountains, the mystery of the history, experienced on solo hikes. How would you use filming / editing to create the sense that there's more to this place than meets the eye?
My latest videos show the artwork :) I have a ton of footage from the place that inspired it, and I'm currently working on the narration for a mini art documentary. This technique has given me a lot of good ideas, I'm curious how others might illustrate this :D

and what about the other emotions ??

  • @AkshatDiscoversTheWorld

Hi! This was extremely useful. I struggle with filming people, getting candid shots to capture raw emotions. Any suggestions? I am a travel vlogger.

Hi, glad you found it useful! Candid shots of raw emotion are tough. My advice would be to not over complicate it. Trust your instincts and trust your audience to understand what you're trying to convey.

bro were any of these thoughts your own, seems like you just digest and regurgitate whatever the consensus of a piece or form of representation is "supposed to mean". Idk this analysis just felt very inauthentic,

Fair criticism. I think there's a lot to be learnt from following established techniques in cinematography. But I think you're right and I could have found ways for my analysis to be more original and creative.
