This is difficult for me mainly because I don’t twist my wrist as much as you’ve taught beginners on how to rope. I usually keep my wrist straight yet I keep my thumb pointed down as I deliver my lasso toward the steers horns. I’ve tried twisting my wrist yet It doesn’t work, mainly cause me keeping my wrist stiff does allow me to make clean head catches. So it might be the lasso I have. It is a medium heavy lasso; it is a Classic lasso, yet I don’t know which still it is. With that lasso I can’t deliver clean head catches.
