  • The World Champion Mikhail Tal is known for his great sacrificial combinations. In this game he also sacrifices material and carries out a brilliant attack, but still, this game is different. As the queens are exchanged in the opening and the arising position is almost symmetrical and looks like a dead-draw. But then Tal's magic begins. In a totally drawish position Tal improves his pieces and starts weaving a mating net around the enemy king.

If he hadn t dealed with fatal health issues all during his career, he would have been accepted the best of all time with his infinite power of imagination and magical vision over the board... He s a hero.. He will always stay my favourite.. Kasparov once said that Tal doesn t calculate, he already sees all the combinations... Salute you The Magician of Riga 🎉🙏

Tal was completely right, and even of you don't see immediate attacking possibilità, when White played ke2 there were still two rooks and three minors on the board, so It doesnt feel so safe to me, Just looking
