Yea nothing wrong with that!! Same satisfaction of learning but a fraction of the cost. Paints and resin prices are lower!! Good stuff share your work in the discord dude get some ideas etc.

@@Groundeffected next time your out and about...stop by your local landscaping company. The ones that sell truckloads of rocks for yard decorations. Go get a sample of thier gravel, sand, decomposing granite, etc, etc. Bags of basing terrain, for free.😏

I have a ton of these minis printed off, I am just after finishing priming and giving them a nice Zeni 😁 I love how they have added some fantasy stuff to their line up. It's insane the quality and quantity they are giving people. I am super excited to do up Toad and Magnito.

Yea man. Makes it easier to see the entire composition too and helps to work on those skills that are otherwise swept under the rug when painting a larger model
Mini painting always makes me go crossed eyed!! I still do it though! Great vid!
I think we need to see the eye doctor lol. Cos same for me. But those skills will translate. As long as you paint the same way as you would a larger model and it even looks better when you do.

hey man quick question since im new. Would it still viable to not spray paint at all and just dive straight into the brush?
You can paint however you like. Either way you’ll still need to brush at some point airbrush just helps get faster transitions and layers down before you detail.

Acrylic paint. Specifically model paints are better to use.
